by Mr Thompson on May 14th 2016

We have stayed in many excellent self catering cottages over the years but Kath's Cottage is up there with the very best. The owner can be proud of this lovely comfortable cottage which has everything that you need for your stay. Well located for the local attractions with Sandringham House only a short drive away.

by Mrs Murray on February 13th 2016

Such a warm and cosy cottage. Lovely and clean. We found the cottage well placed for a winter birding and walking holiday.

by Mr Singer on November 22nd 2015

We liked it all. The cottage was well stocked with everything. We would like to use cottage again if available.

by Mr Haynes on November 7th 2015

When we arrived at Kath's Cottage we entered a warm, inviting cottage which was immaculate and had everything you could wish for to make our stay comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped, the bathroom lovely and the bed really comfortable. We were able to enjoy many beautiful walks both along the coast and inland. All in all a really enjoyable holiday which we would recommend to anyone.

Fantastic cottage by Gerard G on October 15th 2015

We stayed at Kath's Cottage in June this year, our second visit having stayed in 2014. A really impressive accommodation with wonderful stone floors and an excellent fully fitted kitchen. Upstairs there is a lovely bedroom that looks out onto the High Street and the bathroom, though small is beautifully finished with a great shower. No room for a bath but that omission takes nothing away from the quality surroundings. Stairs are narrow and steep but that is only to be expected in a cottage of it's age but it didn't bother us and we are a couple in our 60's. Just to add that next door, Cassie's Cottage is equally as impressive and has a second bedroom. We stayed here from the end of August into September. In my personal opinion, nobody could fault anything in either of these two cottages, they are comfort personified.

by Mr Jones on August 30th 2015

A lovely cottage in a really good location for visiting North Norfolk. Having a parking place is a real bonus for this part of the world. There were plenty of beaches and places to visit nearby.

Lovely cottage by bobijono on August 30th 2015

Lovely cottage in a great location in Heacham with its own parking place, a real bonus in this part of the world. It is well equipped and well presented and an ideal base for visiting North Norfolk. There is also another cottage next door which sleeps four people, so could be rented at the same time for a larger party. The front courtyard garden is a real sun trap, lovely to relax in this peaceful area.

What a wonderful Cottage for a winter break. The cottage has everything you would need and has been really tastefully furnished. We met the owner during one of her courtesy visits and what a nice person. We were extremely comfortable and warm. The local amenities could not be faulted, everything is so close to hand. It was nice to arrive and find a number of items already in place, milk, sugar, tea, coffee and fruit a really nice touch and most welcome after a 2.5 hour journey. We were so impressed with the quality and service that we would not have the slightest hesitation recommending this lovely cottage for either a winter or summer break. Thank you Sally for making our stay so homely and comfortable and we would definitely stay here again

Kath's Cottage was absolutely brilliant - it had everything we needed - washer/drier came in handy, Tesco just around the corner - a brilliant chip shop a few yards away and The Fox and Goose within walking distance for a meal. A little further to The West - Norfolk and nearby Sedgeford, King William IV and easy parking at the front of the cottage - we would recommend the cottage to anyone.

by Mr Garner on June 29th 2014

A lovely cottage in a quiet and peaceful village. The standard and finish of the Cottage was outstanding and we couldn't have asked for more. In fact we loved the area so much that we really considered moving to Norfolk and even checked some properties that were for sale. There was nothing we didn't like, even the sun shone for us over the week.

by Mrs Tunstall on June 9th 2014

Kath's cottage was everything we required. We absolutely loved Heacham. Everything was perfect for us. Heacham was such a tranquil place, was a pleasant walk to the beach and nearby had the services we enjoyed, Tesco, Fish and chip shop and a very clean Indian restaurant. We walked for 3 days around the coast and villages, visited Sandringham, Pensthorpe Nature Park, Holkham Hall and Kings Lynn. The bus service was so regular and reliable, we used it several times.

Our second visit to this wonderful cottage which is ideally situated for exploring beautiful North Norfolk. We would highly recommend it.

by Mr Davies on July 26th 2013

A perfect place to chill out in the little garden, not overlooked at all, or as a base to explore the surrounding area. Off-road parking in front of the garden fence too, which is a bonus in a busy village. We had a lovely chill-out week here and would be more than happy to come back or recommend it to anyone else, 10/10.

Chill-out perfection by Tony D on July 26th 2013

A charming, beautifully clean and well-appointed one-bedroom cottage in a quiet part of Heacham village. Hardly any road noise at all, even though technically on the High Street, but still close to Post Office, newsagent and other local shops. Very convenient to have a newly opened Tesco Express 5 minutes walk away at the end of the road, so no need to take any food with you. The cottage was lovely and cool in the recent hot weather, with thick walls and stone tile flooring throughout the ground floor. The front door opens into a good sized sitting room, with a comfortable leather sofa and armchair and a big flat-screen TV, along with DVD player and a selection of films and books too. Lovely little kitchen, nice fitted wooden units with granite tops and plenty of storage, deep sink and an electric cooker, kettle and toaster. Through the kitchen to a utility area with the boiler, big cupboard, big fridge/freezer and microwave. Up a curving staircase to a double bedroom with two good sized wardrobes, set of drawers and a smaller TV. Small landing area (ideal for storing cases etc) and a well appointed bathroom, toilet, sink and shower. What we really appreciated about this property is that the owner ensures that everything is supplied - condiments, bin bags, kitchen/toilet rolls, range of olive oils, tea and coffee, washing up liquid, soaps, hand creams - you name it we didn't need to take it or buy it! In addition there was a nice welcome bowl with fresh fruit, chocolate biscuits and a big carton of milk. A perfect place to chill out in the little garden, not overlooked at all, or as a base to explore the surrounding area (and there's plenty to see and do). Off-road parking in front of the garden fence too, which is a bonus in a busy village. We had a lovely chill-out week here and would be more than happy to come back or recommend it to anyone else - 10/10 !

This delightful, contemporary cottage is a real gem. Tucked off the High Street in Heacham it is handy for all the local shops and pubs as well as being a perfect base for bird watching sites in the area. The owners have gone the extra mile in providing luxurious soft furnishings and leaving the cupboards stocked with basic essentials from washing powder to fresh milk and fruit. There were even Molton Brown hand creams and shower gels! Heacham may not be picturesque but it has some fine buildings, especially round the church and it is a great base for the area.

The cottage is beautiful, set in a very picturesque and convenient location within Heacham village. Everything about the cottage is clean and attractive and the finish is to a very high standard. The extra touches of fruit, tea, coffee, sugar, etc. were very much appreciated.

Very pleasant, clean well equipped, comfortably furnished property in a quiet situation. Lots of local amenities within walking distance - shops, pub, takeaway. We had an excellent stay.

Lovely cottage, great quiet beaches.

The decor and furnishings were all very good quality. The extra touches, such as milk and tea and condiments were handy. The owner was very friendly too and helpful.
