Driftwood Cottage is an elegant blend of chic and nautical, and it is a perfect, cosy stay for those who want to get away from it all. This cottage sleeps four and has two bedrooms. The master bedroom features a luxurious king size bed, walk-in wardrobes, and a mirror. You will also be pleased to find a flat-screen TV with Freeview so that you can stay up to date on the latest programs.
You will find a comfortable living room located on the ground floor, which has two sofas, an electric fireplace, and a flat-screen TV with Freesat and a DVD player so you can enjoy a fun family film. Step into the fully-equipped, open-plan kitchen flooded with natural light where you can create delicious home-cooked meals, and treat yourself to those meals in the attached dining room overlooking the garden. The secure patio area outside with a table and chairs is perfect for those that want to enjoy an al fresco meal accompanied by the breezy sea air.
The cottage is nestled in Lytham St. Annes and is just a short walk away from Lytham St. Annes Beach, where you can enjoy a donkey ride in the summer, cafes, and ice cream parlours. There are cute pastel-coloured beach huts with electricity, so you can indulge in a cosy summer stay right on the beach. Once you are fully relaxed by the calming sound of the waves and the relaxing sea breeze, visit the nearby Lytham Center with its pubs, restaurants, and boutiques. You can also pay a visit to the nearby Lytham Green and Estuary.
For a perfect family day trip, the Blackpool Zoo is only a few miles away and it is home to everything from elephants to sea lions. Not far away is the Blackpool Tower, where you can take in the panoramic views across Blackpool from high above. The Blackpool Tower Ballroom is a gorgeous combination of stunning architecture and a unique sprung dance floor, and it is perfect for a romantic even for two. Or for the more adventurous type, there is the Blackpool Tower Dungeon, where actors, a drop ride, and special effects will make this visit truly memorable. Very funny and also a bit scary at times, the Dungeon is great for bringing light to a whole new side of Blackpool.
