A re- enactment of Napoleon Bonaparte’s failed attempt to capture Ilfracombe is just one of the highlights of this charming North Devon town’s Maritime Festival 2011. The day is in aid of The National Lobster Hatchery who will also bring along a tank of baby lobsters, to be later released into the sea. .
