Tides is a single storey, end of terrace home, based on Rainbows End Park, a very peaceful park with no on site facilities, so if it's the sound of the sea you want, you've found the right place!
It was newly refurbished in 2011 to a high standard with two comfy leather sofas, hotel quality beds, flat screen TV, DVD player, CD and ipod dock. The main room provides relaxed open plan living with an integral kitchen. This has a large fridge, internal freezer compartment, microwave and washing machine and is stocked with a range of products such as washing up liquid, cling film, foil, paper towel and other useful items to ensure you don't need to pack the kitchen sink! New for 2015, free wi-fi - plan your days out, read the paper online or check the tide times on our website.
Eating can be in the dining area, which has a fold down table and four chairs or alfresco on the terrace at the patio table, enjoying the morning sunshine. There are also picnic benches dotted around the park.
There are two bedrooms, one with double bed and the other a single bed with full size guest bed under. The bathroom has a shower over the bath, a heated towel rail and complimentary toiletries. On arrival just relax, knowing the beds are already made with crisp, clean white bedding.
Tiled floors throughout make it very dog friendly and we will happily take two large up to four small dogs for a small charge, depending on guest numbers. Our superb housekeeper ensures that our non doggy guests will not know they've been there! The gated, decked terrace provides a secure area for dogs and small children, however there are over 10 acres plus the beach on your doorstep to enjoy roaming around on.
We have an outside storage box that stores a rotary dryer and a range of beach equipment that you are welcome to use. There are electric radiators in all the rooms, so during the winter months, they ensure you stay cosy.
There is a superb children's playground a short walk away; Bacton Woods is a few minutes drive out of the village and a popular dog walking destination. Explore the many seaside villages and popular resorts of Cromer and Sheringham, take a boat trip on the Norfolk Broads or visit Norwich City or Great Yarmouth. East Ruston Gardens are nearby, Happisburgh Lighthouse, Stow Windmill; as are the National Trust properties Blickling and Felbrigg Hall. Bird and seal watching can be found up towards Blakeney or down to Horsey. Indulge your hobbies of fishing, golf or horse riding or perhaps just relax and enjoy the sea air on your doorstep.
We have a second property on the park so if the dates you want are unavailable, do please check our website. As well as week long bookings, we offer short breaks all year round, weekend breaks of 3 nights and midweek breaks of up to 4 nights. Ask about flexible bookings during the months of November through to March if you have specific dates in mind. Come and enjoy all that Norfolk has to offer.
We love Tides! by Paula, Daphne, Jasmine and Kodiak on September 1st 2017
Wow! We had such an amazing week! Weather was super, Tides is gorgeous (suited us perfectly)The "fur grenades" loved every minute, so did we; we met so many lovely people and dogs and we actually swam in the sea! We explored quite a few places, sampled the superb fish and chips and we have totally fallen in love with the area. Thank you Debbie, we love Tides. We'll be back for sure!
Two minutes to the beach by P,K,J & A on May 18th 2014
We have had a lovely three days, the sun has been out all day. It's very nice and clean and only two minutes to the beach. Buster the dog, love the beach and has never had so many runs. The weekend was perfect.
