There’s plenty to do if on days when sunbathing on the beach is off the menu. There are three visitor-welcoming golf clubs nearby, opportunities for sea and river fishing, clay-pigeon shooting and a heritage steam railway in nearby Sherringham.
However, it is the beaches that are the main attraction in this corner of Norfolk - magnificent award-winning, blue flag sandy beaches. Perfect is summer for picnics, paddling and a swim in the surf. Equally perfect in winter for long beach-combing walks on the deserted sands. The nearest beach is just a 300m walk from Inclebrough, but do visit the others at Sherringham, Cromer, Holkham and Wells-next-the-Sea.
