A beautifully-renovated old church hall of unique architectural design, in an idyllic location in the grounds of the owner's home at the end of a quiet lane next to the church, in the hamlet of Wilby.
With a south-facing garden and views over open Norfolk countryside, Rectory Cottage has immense character, with exposed beams, a stone spiral staircase with original carved oak boss, and an open gallery above the sitting room.
The property offers high-quality, well-equipped accommodation with attention to detail, and guests have seasonal use of the owners' swimming pool.
Wilby is well placed for exploring Norwich and Bury St Edmunds, whilst country pubs, pretty villages and local amenities, including Thetford Forest, the Broads and the coast, are all within an easy drive.

SURPASSED EXPECTATIONS by Julie Probert, Cardiff, May 2015 on December 2nd 2016
The cottage had a very welcoming atmosphere and far surpassed our expectations. The owners were very friendly and very helpful. It was very quiet and peaceful, we really enjoyed the countryside. There was plenty of living and bedroom space, even if there were 6 people there it would not be crowded. We would very much like to return one day and will recommend it to others.
SO VERY HOMELY by Alison Giles, Rochester, April 2016 on December 2nd 2016
Rectory Cottage was very homely and the under floor heating was fantastic after a cold day out. We found it easy to travel to and from on day trips.
VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL OWNERS by Jackie Foster, Liversedge, August 2016 on December 2nd 2016
The owners were very friendly and helpful. We had use of their pool, which the children enjoyed. Our family had a lovely time there and would like to revisit in the near future.
RELAXING AND HOSPITABLE by Alan Wade, Birmingham, August 2016 on December 2nd 2016
Lovely relaxing cottage, beautiful location. The use of the swimming pool was an added bonus. The owners were very hospitable and helpful. We will definitely return to Rectory Cottage.
