Our fantastic new year stay.
We stayed at the cottage for a few days over New Year and had an excellent time. The cottage was so clean and furnishings great, plus the welcome pack with wine and chocolates was greatly appreciated. We've stayed in a few cottages throughout the UK and would highly recommend staying here to anyone. Looking forward to our next visit.

We only stayed here for 2 nights, but from the moment we walked through the door we felt so at home, and wished we could have stayed longer. We very much hope to return one day and have already recommended The Cottage to family and friends. We were so pleased to meet the lovely owners who take such a pride in their beautiful cottage, which is finished to a very high standard and very well equipped. The location is beautiful, the views beyond the Church breathtaking. And the pub, just a few steps from the front door, is friendly, welcoming and serves delicious locally sourced food. Would recommend breakfast there! Communication when booking was also excellent and very efficient.

This cottage really is lovely, we stayed with 2 Adults and Two older children aged 10 and 9 and it was great. Really well equipped, lovely and clean and such a fab location, great to see and tour the Yorkshire Moors. The village also has a great pub The Royal Oak which does good food and breakfast so you do not even have to cook, just stroll along and eat out.

Stayed for a long weekend booked fairly last minute. Very quirky charming cottage with everything you could need. With the heating on as soon as we arrived the place was soon lovely and warm and the log fire made for a cosy night in!! Lovely drives out across the north Yorks moors. Within minute the views are stunning!! Would definitely recommend!
