'Granary' is a first floor apartment with a pool above 'Owl'. Access is by original stone steps with handrail for safety. This apartment has been attractively adapted, having an open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with views to the Vale of Pickering and beyond. Pets welcome.

'Granary' sleeps 3 guests in a double and a single bedroom. It is possible to sleep a fourth guest by converting the single bedroom to a twin, for a supplemental rental payment, if required. As well as its open plan lounge/kitchen/diner there is a spacious bathroom with corner bath (hand-held mixer-tap shower), a separate shower cubicle and toilet.

The property is part of a group of four properties with exclusive access to on-site private leisure facilities including a heated indoor pool, spa and sauna. Additionally, DIY stabling and paddocks is an option for those wanting to bring their horses with them on holiday.

This upstairs apartment, along with the other holiday properties, is situated in the centre of the pretty village of Newton-on-Rawcliffe within the North York Moors National Park. There is a charming village green, a duck pond, a children's play area and a traditional pub - The White Swan.

'Granary' is ideally located for walkers, cyclists and horse-riding along bridleways or across the open Moors. If you want to explore the area, Whitby, Scarborough, Filey and the City of York are within easy access, all being reached by car in less than 40 minutes. On the doorstep are numerous lovely walks to, for example, Newtondale and Cropton Forest - in fact, the eastern area of the North York Moors National Park generally. Entertainment equipment includes a Freeview TV, DVD player and stereo radio/CD player. Fast fibre optic Wi-Fi is available free of charge.
