Mearbeck House is a Grade II listed Holiday Cottage sleeping 12, that provides a handy base for the Yorkshire Dales, the Settle-Carlisle railway line in the heart of the Pennines for exploring the and walking the famous Three Peak circuit of Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-Ghent. Not that much further afield, The Lake District in Cumbria is just half an hour's drive away.

Take your dog for a walk along the riverside at Settle and Long Preston discovering their traditional pubs serving the best food and refreshing Yorkshire ales. Mearbeck House is a stone-built Dales farmhouse, adjacent to a working farm, producing rare-breed pork and specialist cheeses, with a fine retail wine-shop. Lawns, a patio and a "secret garden" complete with patio dining furniture provide restful areas affording stunning views of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Built in the 19th century, the house is full of original character features, with high ceilings, tiled floors and a large open fire in the sitting-room. However, the kitchen and plumbing are thoroughly up to date! This Dales Holiday Cottage will provide a heavenly back-drop for a large family holiday, an anniversary celebration or a friend’s re-union event.
