A group of tastefully-finished, luxury cottages, with panoramic views towards Embleton Bay. Each cottage at North Farm has been individually styled with great attention to detail, with dining tables for those celebratory meals, sleek kitchens, large living areas to accommodate both kids and parents, spacious bedrooms with pillow soft beds and many en-suite bathroom facilities, to provide a superb base for touring this beautiful county. The kids will love the play area, where they can work off steam while the adults can relax on the cottage patios.
North Farm was once a busy working farm and is still surrounded by lush green fields, a safe, gently sloping farm track leads from the farm down to stunning Embleton Bay, with little extras along the way to make the walk more exciting. Guests can say hello to the three deer, stop off at the old pill box for a rest or book out the owner’s hut on the beach and spend the day making sandcastles and paddling.
From the beach, turn left and take a stroll to the Ship at Low Newton, famous for its microbrewery and scrumptious food or, for a more ambitious walk, turn right and take in Dunstanburgh Castle.
Head to Craster where you can sample the delights of a crab sandwich in the Jolly Fisherman, or pick up some kippers from Robson's famous smokery. There is so much to see and do in Northumberland, with Alnwick Castle and Gardens, Holy Island, Bamburgh, Warkworth and Berwick all within easy reach.
These delightful cottages are perfect for a beachside Northumberland break. The property, a luxury, semi-detached barn conversion lies on the edge of the popular coastal village of Embleton. Its location is just stunning with uninterrupted views over Embleton Bay and Dunstanburgh Castle.
Granary Stone House is tailor made for large families or groups of friends. A great deal of thought has been put into the layout, with a spacious sitting area having sumptuous sofas and a large TV and snooker table makes this is a great place for all the group to relax.
The adjoining, well-equipped kitchen area has a large dining table and is perfect for celebration meals or family board games.
On the ground floor there are two bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower cubicle for those who find the stairs a little challenging.
The first floor comprises a very large master bedroom with views over Embleton Bay, a sitting area, a large en-suite bathroom and an adjoining twin room, plus a further two bedrooms and a bathroom. This is a perfect cottage for a break beside the sea. For really large groups of up to 41 guests, additional cottages on the North Farm complex can be booked together.
