A spacious open plan Victorian terraced cottage in the heart of the seaside village of Manorbier, 5 miles west of Tenby in south Pembrokeshire. The cottage was completely refurbished in 2009 to a high standard (5 star rating with Tourist board). Pets welcome.

- Bathrooms 3
My father bought Carew Cottage in 1980 when he retired from farming and lived in it until the spring of 2008. Since then we have completely refurbished and furnished it to create a wonderful house for large or dual family holidays.
The main room of the house which was built during the refurbishment in 2009 is an ideal family set-up, kitchen, dining, sitting, tv etc. all in one 40 foot (12 m) space, with large double doors at the end of it accessing the terrace in the garden and beautiful rural views of open countryside.
Carew Cottage lies in a picturesque area of many magnificent sandy beaches, including Manorbier (2 - 3 mins walk). It is 2 mins from the coastal path.
There are a mass of places to visit within easy reach that will appeal to all ages from castles, islands, interesting old houses, magnificent cliff walks, stacks, lakes, otters, dolphins, guillemots, puffins, the Preselli Mountains and beautiful St David's Cathedral.
Several golf courses nearby and tennis courts, fly fishing can be arranged and lake and sea fishing.
Manorbier Beach is ideal for children, it has sand, pebbles, a fresh-water stream that can be dammed, rocks with all sorts of wonderful creatures to watch and catch, cliffs that aren't too high. It is very good for surfing - (please supply your own boards and wet suits etc.)
There is a shed in the garden of Carew Cottage for storage of boards and wet suits, and a back garden gate to access it.
Good restaurants can be found in Tenby, Stackpole, Manorbier itself and many more listed in the Tenants Book in the house.
There is parking outside the cottage for one large car and a reserved space 100 yards from the cottage in a private parking area.
There are many more details with many more photographs on the website which I recommend viewing. Please click the link button to view.
Two fantastic week in this beautiful cottage. by The Williams family on July 1st 2013
We have had a fantastic two weeks in this beautiful cottage in Manorbier, the weather has been amazing. We had a long list of things to do but ended up spending most of our time on the beach or in the garden and of course the pub. We live in Abu Dhabi so having this cottage has enabled us to catch up with family and friends who visited us and didn't want to leave. We hope to come back again next year.
Christmas time at Carew goes down as a favourite by Lavinia Bolton on December 1st 2012
Christmas at Carew Cottage goes down as a Bolton/Clarkes favourite. Thank you Janey and everyone who has made this house feel like home, it has been a very special time for big ones & little ones. The wind and rain and crashing waves howled and roared outside, whilst inside we have all giggled and huddled and cuddled cracking crackers and watched the littlies tear open their presents.
It's like coming home again by Evelyns & Sherstons on June 1st 2012
Coming back to Carew Cottage for a 2nd time felt like coming home! The children loved the castle and beach and the grown-ups enjoyed the long suppers. Weather was variable but we had a few beautiful afternoons.

Back again and just as good by The Derwent family, Bristol on April 1st 2012
Another wonderful holiday - & very lucky with the weather again. Our children had a fantastic time on the beautiful and largely deserted beaches. We love it here!
Fantastic! by Siddall & Evans Families on October 1st 2011
Fantastic - from the accommodation to the setting & even the weather we couldn't have asked for better. The garden was gorgeous & so tranquil in the sunshine it was hard to tear ourselves away. The tea room next door couldn't be bettered, apart from the cod and chips at the Castle Inn!
A week of treasured memories. by 4 generations of the Amis Family on August 8th 2011
A week of treasured memories. We enjoyed our week here together & discovered some superb beaches, castles, villages & places to eat. The cottage has wonderful facilities, cosy, plenty of room for all & washing facilities great. We would recommend to families to sample the peace, space & idyllic setting. We made sandcastles, moats, surfed & swam/paddled in the sea & our darling babes (all under 6) loved it too .... as did we all. Missy our treasured dog had a good holiday too.
