Ramblers Rest Cottage in Crickhowell is a Grade II Listed country cottage, only a couple of minutes ramble to the River Usk, famous for its excellent fishing and wildlife. The cottage has recently been refurbished throughout, is centrally heated and offers well appointed accommodation, whilst retaining the charm and peaceful atmosphere of its mid 1800's origin. It lies in the perfect location for walking holidays in Wales, not just for riverside walks along the banks of the River Usk, but for exploring the remote, wild splendour of the Brecon Beacons.
The Cottage is looked after and maintained by the owners, to ensure you have everything you need for your holiday home from home. Maps and guide books are available for visitors use with more suggested days for young and old out than you could fit into a fortnight.
Crickhowell is easy to reach from all parts of the country, and from the doorstep you can enjoy many beautiful and varied walks, fishing or canoeing, horse-riding, mountain biking and many other activities. Crickhowell's charming High Street is only a five minute walk from the cottage and has a variety of independent shops, with plenty of local produce available.
