Comfort with great views
Service was fantastic and the check in no problems. The house was comfortable and well furnished. The location was good and had a number of amenities handy. People were very friendlhouse againy as you passed them in the street. Easy to tour from
The only problem was that the heater in the bathroom was constantly on, because of the type of central heating. But all in all a very enjoyable holiday and would certainly use this
Great apartment ... not keen on location.
First off, the apartment was fantastic. Lovely and clean and spacious. We stayed as a young couple with the partner's parents and their dog. Fantastic somewhere as nice accommodates a pet. The kitchen was definitely well equipped for all self catering cooking. Gorgeous apartment and definitely the correct location if all you are interested in is country walks and not going out. If you were thinking of going out for a drink think again. Nothing to chose from for a decent drink out. Apart from that we had a lovely weekend with a trip to Eyemouth along the shore.
Lovely place for break
We spent lovely week at this property which is pet friendly which makes difference. Very comfortable spacious flat to warm on occasions, it was extremely clean and good base for visiting many lovely places, lovely enclosed garden only down side access is along front street but it did not spoil things, definitely worth considering if u want to stay in this area. Friendly shop on door step
Lovely flat, well looked after. Beautiful views from the kitchen and landing windows.
A good location for access to many golf courses and local amenities.
Nice cottage, well equipped and in a very friendly village.
It was a really good sized family property within reasonable driving distance to beaches, shops and tourist attractions.
We had a wonderful time and will definitely be coming back. Great cottage; great place.
The cottage was a nice base from which to explore Northumberland and Scotland. The cottage was nice and warm and roomy. We were able to visit Holy Island, Edinburgh Hareshaw Linn, Roughting Linn and Cragside. Chirnside village was pleasant and it was interesting to see Jim Clark's monument and grave in the churchyard.
Rooms very spacious, beds very comfortable. Local shop staff very friendly, plenty of nice walks for dogs, loved been able to take pets, it makes a big difference. Able to visit some lovely places and weather not that bad really actually sat in garden one afternoon. Overall a great week was had came to an end too quick would like to visit again.
Views from the property were stunning. Abundant information in cottage both about cottage & surrounding area, making daily excursions successful.
The property is very comfortable and the area is beautiful. The owners are very nice people. I would highly recommend the property, Chirnside/Berwick and all the villages around.
The house is great (in space and experience, a party of 5). The shop was around the corner and open 7 days a week 7:00-22:00. A good start point for visiting England and Scotland.
We had a very good time in this property. The house was very comfortable and the owner very helpful.
The accommodation was very comfortable and we will be returning, we had a great holiday.
This was a lovely flat with a sunny exclusive back garden. The beds and bedding were excellent. This house has WiFi, and is very spacious and roomy. A lovely stay.
