A Treasured Time at Lower Leys by Lee & Ellie. 26.8.16 on August 26th 2016
Lovely cottage. Thank you for the warm greeting of cake, bread etc. Weather has been mixed but didn't stop us going out. It's a great location to discover the moors or go to the beach. Had a great long walk to Tarr Steps and stopped at the pub for a lovely fresh lunch. All the pubs we went to were great with fresh food. Sunday lunch delicious at the Royal Oak in the village. Our children are 13-15 years of age and it has been a wonderfultreasured time together with our Jack Russell who definitely doesn't want to go home! Thank you.
Wonderful Cottage! by Kirsty, Rob, Sam & Callum, Hampshire. 5th August 2016 on August 15th 2016
Wonderful cottage! Fantastic stay and location; view: out of this world. Dog and children loved the garden. Would recommend Dunster Beach, Tarr Steps, Tarr Farm Inn, Porlock Weir. Thank you - this week has been lovely and what we all needed especially the welcome goodies and chocolate cake! We are sad to leave but smiling after our week on Exmoor
A Beautiful Exmoor Holiday in a Super Cottage by Ian & Gillian Miles, Dorset on July 22nd 2016
Thank you for a lovely week in a super cottage. We all love Exmoor! What a beautiful part of the country this is. Weather started off cool and misty then soared up to 30 degrees on Tuesday (hottest day of the year). We went to an open day at Philip Hobbs Racing Stables (beautiful horses) and did the walk to Tarr Steps (nice lunch at Tarr Farm). A day out on the West Somerset Railway was good fun and Dunster Castle was well worth the visit. Also went to Porlock and Lymnouth and stopped off at Watersmeet on the way back (beautiful location). We chose to stay in Wiithypool because my Mother stayed in the village as an evacuee during WW2. We will miss the peace and quiet of Lower Leys Cottage and those lovely views!
An Enjoyable Week by Sally, Geoff & dogs. June 10-17 2016 on June 17th 2016
A comfortable cottage and beautiful views. Shame the weather was unpredictable - mostly wet! However, that apart, we have had an enjoyable week here.
A Week Of Sunshine! by Jackie & Ian Lightfoot. June 2016 on June 10th 2016
Thank you for the 'Welcome Hamper' which was delicious. A wonderful stay - with great walking made all the better by a week of sunshine. Eat a Woods in Dulverton for a treat. Local pub and Tear-Rooms in Withypool excellent.

We have enjoyed our stay at Lower Leys. It has been very comfortable and we have loved the views. Had some great days out: We would recommend Withypool to Tarr Steps, Watersmeet and Valley of the Rocks are good walks and have great Tea Shops too!! We would also recommend Woods Wine Bar and Restaurant in Dulverton as a great place to eat and also the London Inn in Molland. If you like Thai food, then go to the Thai Restaurant in Dulverton Lastly, visit Withypool - lovely place. Thanks for the Stay.
Lower Leys: Absolutely Recommended! by Sue and Tim from Kent. 6-9.5.16 on May 9th 2016
Beautiful, well-equipped Exmoor cottage, very peaceful and relaxing. We agree that some comfier chairs for the outside would be a useful addition, but other than that it (the cottage) had everything we needed. We would absolutely recommend it to friends and family. The Royal Oak in Withypool was lovely and the walk back wasn't so bad!
Lucky Us! by Jane & Pam & Marnie the Dog on April 25th 2016
How lucky we were that this beautiful cottage was free for our extended weekend with Marnie, our dog. Opening the curtains first thing in the morning is one of the best ways to lift anyone's spirits...the views are to die for! The cottage is warm and cosy, well-equipped and comfortable. We had a lovely stay and hope to return. Many thanks
