A detached 18th century family/pet friendly large Holiday Cottage with 5-bedrooms that sleep 12, adjacent to a working farm. Situated in Millhouse Green, a small, rural Pennine village near Holmfirth amidst green, rolling and rugged countryside, take the opportunity to explore ‘Last of the Summer Wine’ country in South Yorkshire, or explore the local section of the Coast-to-Coast Trans-Pennine Trail on foot bicycle, or even horseback. The Peak District National Park, and Holmfirth, are all just a short car journey away. Nearer to hand, it is only a 5-minute walk from this South Yorkshire holiday cottage is a restaurant, Post Office, village shop and a traditional pub.

Penistone, an ancient Pennine town, is worth a visit with its welcoming pubs and interesting and ‘different’ independent shops and cafes. Such is the variety of this rural area, holidays at Hazlehead House are feasible at any time of the year. This appealing property has a farmhouse style kitchen-diner with an AGA and corner sofa, a welcoming dining-room (seating 12) leading to an intimate sitting-room with its real fire. The other larger sitting-room (with a woodburner) has enough comfy seating for everyone to come together. There are 5 bedrooms, most of which have tea/coffee making facilities and TV's. Outside, overlooking an extensive enclosed garden, is a large patio, from where children and pets can play safely.
