Beautiful locationry by sandra h on October 16th 2016
The cottage on arrival was more than we could have expected. Beautifully presented and equipped to a very high standard. All our requirements were met - even the needs for the baby. Views and sun-sets were spectacular, lovely garden space for the 2yr old, he loved seeing the rabbits playing in the garden every morning. This has been one of the best we have had the pleasure of using and we cannot wait for our next visit. Thank-you Mrs Edwards and your Daughter for you hospitality.

The accommodation was great - a real spring board for so many sights in North Wales. The cottage was a real home from home and the wonderful weather was a real bonus.

A real home from home with the best equipped kitchen in 30 plus years of self catering.

Ideal for beaches and touring, we have been on holiday in the Barmouth area for 20 years; its one of best cottages we've had.
by Mrs Ventham on June 8th 2015
The cottage was one of the best we've ever stayed in. The owner welcomed us warmly and there was such good attention to detail which made the cottage very comfortable. The location was amazing. We loved the views. We found Dyffryn Ardudwy very handy for our walk along the Welsh Coast Path.

Beautiful fully contained cottage by Sam D on January 28th 2015
On arrival we found an immaculately neat cottage waiting for us. The amenities in the cottage are modern and clean and refined. If you don't want to use your car, then the cottage well situated within walking distance of a train station and bus stop, it's easy to explore or go shopping using public transport. The homely atmosphere and rustic environment was a welcome get-away. Don't expect a reasonable internet connection though.
by Mr Du Plessis on October 28th 2014
The immaculate cottage was a pleasure to stay in with everything neat and clean. Walks in the surrounding lanes were peaceful while access to sightseeing trips were easy due to the location of the cottage.

On arrival we received a warm welcome from the owner. The property was well equipped and had a good sized garden (my boys had fun running around and rolling down the small grassed slope in the lawn). There was ample parking space, the property was well equipped and was situated in a good place - a 10 min walk from local shop, half hour walk from beach (with our two boys 3yrs and 8 yrs) or a five min drive. We were very fortunate with the weather so had every meal outside using the good quality garden furniture, and spent many an evening sat outside watching the sun go down over the sand dunes - a beautiful view.

Wonderful stay by A FlipKey verified reviewer on December 2nd 2013
We had a great week at this property. With a new baby we were a little apprehensive about our first family holiday but the cottage exceeded all our requirements. The photographs don't do it justice and the owner is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
by Mr Schofield on November 10th 2013
It was like my own home in a different location. Ty Cerrig is a beautiful cottage in a beautiful part of Wales.
by Mrs Swift on October 13th 2013
The location was perfect, scenery good, and although in a village it was very quiet, perfect! This was a wind down holiday for both myself and my daughter as we both have very stressful jobs, we could not have asked for a better property to allow us to do this.
by Mrs Westwick on August 20th 2013
The cottage was exceptionally clean and well equipped, particularly the kitchen. Although not isolated, it was a very quiet location and perfectly situated for all our outings - Barmouth, Harlech, Conwy, Caernarfon, Porthmadog as well as offering easy access to beach, bike rides and walks for all the family. The children especially enjoyed the lovely garden.
by Mrs Mayer-smith on July 1st 2013
This was our first holiday together as a family with our two little girls. The property was superb, the welcome from Mrs Edward was warm and welcoming and the access to attractions in the area was perfect!
by Mr Martin on March 23rd 2013
The cottage was very well appointed and had all the equipment necessary to have a very comfortable stay. The cottage was an extremely high quality property but very homely and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
by Mr Kirkwood on November 5th 2012
The property was in excellent condition, and warm with the central heating on. The excellent double glazing shut out all of the noises from the road, wind and rain...fantastic!
by Mrs Molyneux on October 29th 2012
The cottage was perfect in every way, we would go back again.
by Mrs Freakley on October 3rd 2012
The cottage was all it was reported to be and more, it was lovely to have such a beautiful place to go back to each day, the gift of cake and flowers was a lovely touch.
absolutely fantastic property by A FlipKey verified reviewer on October 1st 2012
pictures on internet looked great, the reality was even better, the property was lovely and clean and spacious and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a self catering holiday, the garden is well maintained and quite large, the views from the property are fantastic, if your fortunate enough the sunsets are brilliant, I would recommend this property to anyone one who asked, we were a family of 5 adults, but children would have loved the garden and freedom to play safely out doors.
by Mrs Yates on August 28th 2012
The garden and proximity to the beach. Also the fact the cottage was so well equipped made it a real home from home. The lovely cake and flowers put in on our arrival date were a lovely touch.
by Mr Ahern on July 30th 2012
We liked the distant sea views and the sheep and lambs in the adjoining field. The welcome present of a cake and flowers left by the property owner was a nice touch. The local butcher sold super meat. We liked the peace and quiet of the area and the log fire at night. Nice local pub food from several pubs. All good! Local Italian restaurant was fantastic with sea views. I do a lot of mountain biking and some good local trails up into the hills again with stunning views. Powerful shower, with plenty of hot water throughout the day.
by Mr Cooper on July 25th 2012
Lovely quiet and spacious accommodation with beautiful views and easy access to the main routes along the coast.

An excellent property in a fantastic location with views of the sea.
by Mr Beech on February 14th 2011
One of my main considerations is availability of public transport and village amenities, and this location proved excellent in both respects. The accommodation was very well equipped, clean and comfortable, and I am already considering returning in the very near future.
