Kersey Cottage is a wonderfully modern, stylish and large holiday home located in the picturesque fishing village of Flushing. Up to 8 guests can experience a slice of the idyllic Cornish life, with breathtaking surroundings and waterside views. Approaching the cottage through the pretty pastel-painted streets, guests are welcomed by this large cottage’s smart-looking and elegant exterior. Once inside, guests will notice the split-level layout of the property.

The ground floor has access to a delightful double bedroom with its own shower room.

Heading to the lower ground floor, a fabulous open-plan living space awaits guests, with a stunning glass skylight and bi-fold doors. This room is elegant and contemporary, and the crisp white walls and warm wood floor complement each other beautifully. It’s a beautiful space at the heart of the home and an ideal spot to share some quality time together.

The kitchen is super stylish, with slick gloss white units, open shelving, and a dark wood worktop. The kitchen has all the home comforts, such as an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer.

The spacious garden also provides a charming setting where guests can escape and relax.

The master bedroom is located on the second floor at the front of the property. This room invites guests to enjoy a comfortable and relaxing night’s sleep in the king-size bed.

Bedroom three features twin single beds, which can be connected to create a super-king-size if needed.

Bunk beds are the main feature of the fourth bedroom and are an exciting arrangement for anyone travelling with young guests. Younger guests can enjoy waking up here before everyone else and relaxing with a favourite show on the TV.

The family bathroom is clean and contemporary, with floor-to-ceiling white tiles and black slate flooring.

Flushing is the picture-perfect Cornish postcard setting with quaint streets lined with characterful fishing cottages, two friendly pubs, and an excellent seafood restaurant. A well-equipped children’s play park and a well-stocked local shop are toward the other side of Flushing.

Strolling around the streets or down to the waterfront is a tranquil way to spend quality time with loved ones. The local beach is a stunning setting to spend the morning whilst the dog explores the craggy rocks and terrain. A regular passenger ferry can take you across the water and over to the harbour town of Falmouth.

Kersey Cottage promises to provide the ideal setting for a large family or group of friends to get away and explore Cornwall. Visitors will find parking on one of the streets within the village – it’s all free of charge, and being so small, your car will be just a few minutes walk away at the most.
