Truely 5 Star and Away From It All

This holiday property was without doubt the best property we have stayed at, in over 30 years of having large family group holidays. Everything we needed was provided - and worked! Two top quality washing machines and dryers, a large fridge and chest freezer, an enormous electric kettle, two dishwashers, a wine chiller, plenty of crockery and cutlery, the list is endless! The beds were all comfortable, the showers (all en-suite) worked and provided hot water. We have never returned to a holiday property we may return to this one.

This Property Is Wonderful

he accommodation was superbly comfortable. It was great to come back after a long walk, leave boots and damp gear in the boot room and, after tea and cake, sink into steaming baths. There seemed to be an endless supply of hot water. A highlight was our final meal, the chef and the butler gave us a superb evening. Not only was the food top class, but the meal incorporated surprises and treats, fun and good humour. We were bowled over by the friendliness of the team.

Without Doubt - The Best We have Ever Been To.

As a group of 9 couples we have stayed in over 20 large houses over a period of over 30 years, and this property is the best we have been to. Everything about the house is outstanding and it is in such a wonderful position to explore Weardale, the North Pennines & Teesdale. The views are fantastic with birds, hares & lots of sheep just outside your window. We'll be back!
