The medieval Somerset village of Dunster lies a mile or two inland from the West Somerset coast near Minehead and offers visitors a choice of attractive and historic holiday homes. The hexagonal Yarn Market (look for the hole made by a Civil War cannon ball in its roof) housed the wool auctions, the basis of Dunster's prosperity.
