As you step inside Ash Barn, you'll find an open-plan ground-floor living space graced by underfloor heating. The kitchen has modern conveniences, including an integrated electric oven, electric hob, dishwasher, microwave, larder fridge, and a separate freezer.

A dining table, offering seating for six, encourages communal meals. In contrast, a relaxation area featuring a wood burner, a wall-mounted Smart TV with a DVD player, a digital radio with an iPod docking station, and ample comfortable seating, including recliners, is ideal for unwinding. French doors lead to the garden, merging the soothing outdoors with your indoor sanctuary.

The ground floor offers bedroom three with a king-size bed (5ft) and bedroom two with twin single beds (3ft). A ground-floor bathroom is provided, with a free-standing bath, a separate walk-in shower, a hand basin, and a WC.

Ascend the stairs to a galleried landing, which offers an additional relaxation area with a TV and built-in DVD player, providing a delightful overview of the ground floor. The spacious bedroom one features a king-size bed (5ft), a Juliette balcony with views over open fields, and an en-suite shower room equipped with a shower cubicle, a hand basin, and a WC.

For added convenience, a shared laundry room is available. It includes a washing machine, tumble dryer, sink area, and airer and can be used by guests staying in Oak Barn.

Step outside to discover the enclosed private south-facing garden adorned with an artificial lawn, a patio, garden furniture, and a hot tub. The garden overlooks fields often grazed by sheep, creating an idyllic backdrop for relaxation. A barbecue stand is provided for disposable barbecues, which guests can procure and dispose of themselves.

For families with young children, a travel cot (please bring your own bedding), a high chair, and a stair gate are available upon request.

Parking is a breeze, with ample off-road space for several cars close to the property. If you choose to indulge in the luxury of a hot tub, please note that an additional charge of £50 applies for 3-4 night bookings and £100 for 7-night bookings. Pool towels are not provided, so don't forget to pack your own.

Children of all ages are warmly welcomed, making Ash Barn an ideal family retreat. However, pets are not permitted, and telephone services are not available, although mobile signal strength may vary.

Short breaks are available in the low season and can be booked at any time. In the mid and high season, bookings are accepted two weeks before the holiday start date. Changeover day is Friday, with check-in available from 3 p.m. and check-out at 10 a.m.
