It's competition time again! All over the country, people will be reviewing their photographic archives in search of an image that will be good enough to be awarded the ultimate accolade: The My Holiday Marketing Christmas Card.
For an online company, we are still dedicated to some of the old ways. Sending a genuine, hand written Christmas Card to all those who we'd like to send seasons greetings (around 400) by Royal Mail is one of them.
Last year's winning photo from Binney Matthews at Great Trevarron House is shown here.
For the winner, as well as gracing the front of the card we will:
- Send you a christmas hamper, or if your are a cottage owner, you can have a 12-month free listing on My Favourite Holiday Cottages.
- Post a picture of the winning card on our Blog, Twitter, Facebook and Google+ pages to all corners of the globe
- Post it as a News Story on My Favourite Holiday Cottages.
- We'll also send you a Christmas card!
And of course there is the honour, the prestige and the glory...
For the runner's up, there's a free month's listing as a Featured Favourite for your cottage on My Favourite Holiday Cottages as well as fully credited mentions in our popular Socla Media outpourings.
How to Enter
We're looking for something distinctive. It can be traditional or contemporary. Snow is optional. It can be of your cottage (inside or out), or a landscape. We don't have a set image in mind - just something that makes us pause and admire when it opens.
You'll need to send it to us by the 18th November so you haven't got long!
All you need to do is e-mail us as many entries as you like. The bigger the better, but please keep each email below 10MB.
In sending an image your are also confirming that you are the owner of the image and are giving us the right to use it for, and in promoting, the My Holiday Marketing Ltd Christmas card.
Our decision for the winning entry is final and no correspondence will be entered into. All entries must be submitted to us by 9.00am on the 18th November 2013.
Best of luck, and we look forward to seeing all the wintery photos.
