In the heart of Redcar and Cleveland, Saltburn-by-the-Sea is a charming seaside resort with fine Victorian architecture, a vast, sandy beach, and plenty of amusements to enjoy. There are several striking historical landmarks to look out for, including the Ship Inn, which dates back to the 17th century and remains a popular spot for a pint of ale overlooking the sea. Nearby, the Saltburn Cliff Lift runs from Upper Promenade to the beach below. There is a historic pier which his home to an excellent fish and chip shop and a variety of amusements.
