Perhaps the UK’s most famous walk, the South West Coast Path, is on the doorstep of many of our holiday cottages. Covering 630 miles, it passes towering cliffs, secret coves, sandy beaches and ancient fishing villages. We have cottages in Watchet, Porlock and Minehead, where the path begins. Inland, there are also beautiful walks through wooded combes and high, open moorland, to the south of the coast, in Exmoor National Park. Secluded villages such as Simonsbath and Exford are idyllic bases for walking holidays on Exmoor. Sandy beaches such as Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton are passed by the South West Coast Path on its way along the North Devon coast, while the rugged North Cornwall coast has the pretty villages of Boscastle and Port Isaac.
