Sunset Beach is a spacious holiday cottage a stroll from the rugged North Devon coast. Blow away the cobwebs and burn off the calories with long, winter walks through the dunes and onto the sandy beach, which is amazingly quiet in the winter and often battered by spectacular storms.
The Old Flax Mill is located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, on the border between Antrim and Londonderry. This converted mill has 12,000 square feet of accommodation, with exposed beams, wooden floors and five lounges. A short drive away, discover craggy clifftops and sweeping, sandy bays on the Causeway Coast. Don’t miss the Giant’s Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage Site shrouded in myth and legend.

Dartmoor is particularly enchanting in winter, and Bridesmere is a stone’s throw from some of its most beautiful scenery.
Explore the 50-acre wooded valley in front of the cottage, where a lovely footpath follows the banks of a secluded lake.
Nestled in the Avil Valley a couple of miles from the coast, Selworthy Cottage is perfect for a Christmas or New Year’s break in Exmoor.
Don’t miss the atmospheric village of Dunster, where the cobbled streets are lit by candles to celebrate the festive season.
Plan your arrival in time to book tickets for the last Santa Special on the West Somerset Railway.
Hunt for fossils on the Jurassic Coast, sail, fish or take the family for a breath of fresh air on the coast path before settling in for a cosy evening at the Beach House. Don’t forget to make the most of the lookout room right above the beach, with amazing views of the harbour. Christmas is spoken for but New Year is still up for grabs!
