Captain’s House is a large historic holiday cottage offering group accommodation in Marazion, a seaside village in West Cornwall that overlooks St Michael’s Mount and has direct access to the beach. This luxury waterside holiday home dates back to the 18th century and was originally built as a captain’s house for the local port, hence its name. Today, it has been fully restored and lovingly furnished to provide guests with a luxurious and comfortable holiday experience in all seasons.
The house features five bedrooms with ten beds (three doubles and two twin bedrooms - one with bunk beds and the other with zip-and-link beds). The master bedroom has its own sitting area. Two bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, making it ideal for larger groups or families. The house’s interior is beautifully furnished in a Scandinavian style, mixing antique and contemporary pieces. It boasts a large living room with comfortable seating, a wood-burning stove, a dining room that can seat up to 12 guests, a cinema room, and a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances.
Outside, guests can enjoy a large, private garden with plenty of seating and dining areas and a heated swimming pool (available from May to September). The garden also offers stunning views of the nearby St. MichaeMichael’s and the surrounding countryside.
