Port na Mine also features a large, fully fitted kitchen, two TVs with Freeview, and Ordnance Outdoor Survey maps to plot out a day walking the ancient woodlands and rugged hills surrounding the cottage.
Fishing rods and mackerel lines are available upon request, while guests with their own boats can drive down to the Loch and launch from there.
Sharing the forestry track that leads to Port na Mine is the (locally) famous Inverawe Smokehouse and Shop. The nearby village of Taynuilt features local amenities such as an excellent grocery store, a historic iron furnace, and the picturesque 9-hole Taynuilt Golf Club.
