Fishing rods and mackerel lines are available upon request, while guests with their own boats can drive down to the Loch and launch from there. Sharing the forestry track that leads to Port na Mine is the (locally) famous Inverawe Smokehouse and Shop. The nearby village of Taynuilt features local amenities such as an excellent grocery store, a historic iron furnace, and the picturesque 9-hole Taynuilt Golf Club. Further afield is Oban, where one can catch a ferry for a trip to the Hebrides.
