Cosy Cottage

A smashing little place.Splendid base for all the places we wanted to see - Lost Gardens of Heligan, Eden Project, Lanhydrock House. We intended to eat out every night but were so comfortable we sat in the garden to eat every night. Slightly disappointed the BBQ had disappeared.Smashing people.Excellent value

Cosy Cottage is situated in the Cornwall countryside an ideal location for a week of exploration around Dodwalls.The cottage and the owners are first class making the holiday even better.

The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable.
Very good location for travelling around the area - and all the details we needed in the cottage of what to see and how to get there.
And the trains close-by were a bonus!

A small but comfortable cottage, very well placed to visit the interesting surrounding area. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely book again if we are in the area in the future.

Could barely hear or see the train (was worried it would be noisy). Dobwalls good central location to various attractions. Very clean well furnished cottage. High quality fittings and attention to detail. Warm and cosy.

The cottage was comfortable and in a nice quiet area. It made an ideal base for lots of sightseeing such as The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens od Heligan etc. Its just a pity the weather hadn't been a little better, but it didn't stop us from getting out into the lovely Cornish countryside.

The cottage was a great base to visit different areas in Cornwall and the local did great food with friendly service. As for the cottage and owners, real effort was made here with extra touches which had obviously been thought out to make the stay more pleasant e.g. milk, tea, coffee, eggs and even two bottles of wine on arrival with toiletries also provided. These simple touches made the stay really enjoyable despite the bad weather.

The owners were great, it was our honeymoon and we arrived very late, about 1am and they stayed up and waited for us. They also left us some fresh eggs, chocolates, wine and champagne.

The cottage was absolutely lovely. It was finished to a high degree, it all looked brand new and was so clean.

The owner went out of his way to ensure the cottage was enjoyable to stay in. It was in a central position for seeing many places in East Cornwall and "The Highwayman", just a mile down the road, served an excellent Sunday roast.

The cottage was situated in a very quiet peaceful location which made it very easy to relax and sleep well.

Cosy Cottage was cosy and compact, but a lovely place to stay. Location was secluded but with easy access to A38. Friendly and unobtrusive, but very helpful hosts. Well-equipped kitchen. Good shower.

We had a warm welcome, with a bottle of wine and milk in the fridge. It was a very quiet situation, but central for visiting a large area of Cornwall. The owners were very helpful, but we had total privacy. There was plenty of parking space and lots of information available with leaflets and maps.

It was definitely a cosy cottage, equipped with simply everything anyone could need. Spent a lovely week there, its situated in a central spot to be able to visit most parts of Cornwall. Will definitely be returning at some point.
