10 Horizon View is a two-bedroom Cornwall holiday lodge in the Southern Halt Resort in Dobwalls, a very convenient location for exploring southern Cornwall. Liskeard is three miles away, while the Lizard Peninsula is on your doorstep. 10 Horizon View is also a pet and dog-friendly holiday home, perfect if you are looking for a self-catering property in Cornwall suitable for dogs and children. A hot tub on your decking area provides lovely views across the Cornish countryside. 10 Horizon View is an excellent example of a purpose-built holiday home designed for families with pets.
The modern and open plan design includes a large living area with a wall-mounted TV set above the fireplace (safely out of reach of the children), with contemporary sofas and a coffee table facing the fire and TV. To the side, you have lovely, full-height windows and doors that open out onto your own private terraced area. Behind the living area is the kitchen and dining area. The dining area has a table and chairs that comfortably seat four. The kitchen is modern and fully fitted, with a microwave, electric oven and hob, a dishwasher, fridge freezer and washer and dryer.
10 Horizon View has two bedrooms: a master double bedroom with its own en-suite shower room, a second twin bedroom, and a family bathroom. Outside, relax in your own chairs with a table or dip in your own hot tub set in the decked area. Beyond your deck lies a wide area of lawn, great for walking the dogs. 10 Horizon View is perfect if you are looking for an affordable self-catering property in south Cornwall suitable for children and dogs with the bonus of a hot tub!

FABULOUS!
If you're looking for a quiet location with absolutely fabulous views then this is for you. Our lodge looked straight over the open countryside into the far distance, truly lovely. The lodge itself had all the comforts of home and was well maintained. Complimentary bottle of wine, water and milk was much appreciated as well. The Highwayman pub in Dobwalls serves very nice basic food at reasonable cost, however you do need to drive to get there as the lane on which the site is situated off is not pedestrian or dog friendly. If you take a dog please be aware the grounds around the lodges are all open-plan and dogs have to be on a lead at all times when outside. Felt sad to leave at the end of our week. We were lucky to have good weather and the full moon viewed from the hot tub - FABULOUS!

I instantly fell in love as soon as I walked through the door. Firstly the gate and property entry was brilliant as we didn't arrive until late on the Friday evening it was very convenient for us. The complimentary pack was a lovely touch and there was a coffee machine (major bonus). The lodge was very comfortable and extremely clean!!! Me and my partner didn't venture out far as we felt like we never needed too. The hot tub was fab with amazing views.. Looking to book for a short break over Christmas this year. Would 100% recommend! Can honestly say one of the best places I've ever stayed in England.. It feels like home from home.
