Mews Cottage is a delightful holiday cottage on the grounds of the magnificent Bonython Estate just five miles south of Helston, Cornwall, on the northern end of the Lizard Peninsula.
This child-friendly cottage comfortably accommodates up to six guests. This three-bedroom countryside cottage is renovated to a five-star standard and beautifully furnished. It has its own private courtyard with garden furniture and barbecue to savour Cornish evenings after spending the day exploring the South West.
The ground-floor bedroom and one of two first-floor bedrooms come with en-suite shower rooms. The fully fitted kitchen allows guests to prepare family meals, whilst the living room includes a TV, DVD and CD player, and a wood-burning stove.
The Bonython Estate Gardens, which guests are welcome to explore, are rated as one of “The Great Gardens of Cornwall,” comprised of nearly 20 acres with a recently renovated walled garden, a potager, and a hidden valley with three small lakes.
Mews Cottage lies ideally situated for exploring the region, including Helston, the most southerly town on the island of Great Britain. Guests can explore the beautiful coves and coastal pathways of the Lizard Peninsula, visit world-renowned beaches such as Kynance Cove and Kennack Sands, or take in the lighthouse station on Lizard Point, the southernmost tip of the British Isles.
