A small stone cottage featuring upside-down accommodation and elegantly furnished with antiques, Tregadjack Barn sits on the beautiful Bonythion Estate at the top of the Lizard Peninsula near the town of Helston, Cornwall, the southernmost town on the Isle of Great Britain.
From the moment you arrive, you’re made to feel welcome in this pet-friendly cottage. A complimentary homemade fish pie awaits, ready to pop into the Aga and dine whilst admiring the fine views across rolling farmland adjacent to the sea.
Sit in the private west-facing Cornish garden for sun well into the evening or enjoy breakfast as the sun rises in the southeast-facing garden.
The master bedroom comes with an en-suite bathroom, while the other bedroom features an en-suite shower. The fully fitted kitchen of this countryside cottage opens to a living area with woodburning stove and digital flat-screen TV with DVD player.
Tregadjack Barn requires a two-night stay, but with the many attractions that the Lizard Peninsula offers, that’ll hardly be enough time to take it all in. Kynance Cove lies nearby and is a must visit, as is a visit to Falmouth’s Maritime Museum and historic St. Michael’s Mount.
Bonython Estate Gardens is one of the best gardens in Cornwall, whilst the town of Helston is home to the wonderful annual ‘Obby ‘Oss’ Floral Dance procession each May.
