A grand country home in the secluded Haws Bank in Coniston, Becks Fold offers the utmost luxury in accommodation across Cumbria and the Lake District. The three-floor, the detached house incorporates contemporary design into its character build, offering a classy residence for large families or friendship groups.
The house bases its sleeping quarters and main bathroom over the lower ground floor. There are four large bedrooms each with a TV, two with en suite bathrooms including the master, which also boasts a whirlpool bath. All bedrooms provide ample storage and individual decor.
Further up in the property, the house has a large living area, with a slate fireplace and wood burner, ample comfortable seating including a sofa bed, a chandelier and a mounted TV, for cosy nights in. Further on these floors is the spacious kitchen and dining area, while outside is a large patio area for alfresco dining and admiring the surrounding countryside of Coniston.
From the house, the local fells are perfect for enjoying long walks and bike rides, or trying out the sailing and leisure cruises on offer on Coniston Water. Nearby attractions are found in the towns of Hawkshead, Windermere, Grasmere and Ambleside, all just a drive away.

Beautiful home in a superb location.
Stayed here in October 2016 with my wife and four friends.
The house is in an excellent location within 10 minutes walking distance of Coniston Village centre, Coniston Lake, and many start points for hiking the Old Man of Coniston.
The house is beautiful. The bedrooms are airy and comfortable - a great nights sleep as the area is so quiet! The living room makes a great space to relax with friends. The bathrooms are clean and well maintained. The kitchen is excellently equipped - we had no problems cooking a massive roast dinner on the Sunday.
Highly recommended - would love to stay here again in the future!
Great place to stay.
Coniston was an excellent place to be. Less touristy than other lakes. The cottage was close to the village and the lake. Great for walking. The Ruskin museum was interesting for a rainy morning. Brantwood was definitely worth a visit, whether on foot or by ferry, or for the less active by car.
The cottage was very well equipped and comfortable. The owner had obviously gone to a great deal of trouble to make it appealing. The accommodation was spacious. The garden was smaller than it looked in the photo, but still great for relaxing on a summer evening.
Property was excellent, very comfortable and welcoming. Very spacious and attention to detail made it feel very homely. Will definitely be recommending it and hopefully returning soon too!
The house was lovely and very well situated.
This was a great house to stay in - extremely well appointed and a good size for two families. It was lovely to have hand soap in all the (many) bathrooms, and things like tea, coffee, sugar, bread, milk and wine. Having washing powder and dishwasher tablets also made for very comfortable living. Everything was of a really high standard, clean and new. We were very impressed. Excellent! Well done!
