Reviews

A HIGH STANDARD COTTAGE IN EXCELLENT LOCATION

The cottage was far better than expected. It' s location was excellent for many walks and only over a mile from Coniston lake. The cottage itself was decorated to a very high standard and had everything you may need including a jacuzzi, which was ideal after long walks. The cottage had a lovely feel to it and it certainly made us relax and settle into our holiday. Some may feel that an intermittent broadband would be a problem, but not for us that was part of the appeal to be away from all those emails. Besides BT wifi was available through their hotspot sites so if we did have withdrawals that was always an option. Though to be honest just looking out of the window at the stunning views was all that you needed. Helen and Alan the owners were very friendly and welcoming.”

WE LIKED EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS COTTAGE

We liked everything about this cottage, the location, cleanliness, every bedroom had an en suite bathroom. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi, complementary WiFi, and were happy that dogs were allowed at the property. The owners were very friendly also.

A REAL HOME FROM HOME COTTAGE

Underwood was a home from home. Very comfortable and equipped with everything you could ask for. The beds were very comfortable and the setting was beautiful; just what we needed. The log burner was much appreciated and the hot tub was our treat after a day walking. We will definitely return.
