Glassonby Old Hall

Glassonby Old Hall is a pet-friendly cottage with stunning views over Glassonby and Cumbria. It boasts many traditional features from the property’s original life in the 1600s, which combine seamlessly with modern luxuries.

The cottage has an expansive garden that provides ample space to play in the sun or enjoy a meal or refreshment on the furnished sandstone terrace with a barbecue.

The interior of Glassonby Old Hall is a haven of comfort and luxury. Exposed beams, flagged stone floors, exposed stone walls, and oak mullion windows add a touch of rustic charm. Meanwhile, a modern, fully equipped kitchen with AGA, an elegant dining hall with an open fire and doors to the terrace, and a spacious sitting room with a wood-burning cast-iron stove provide all the modern comforts you desire.

There are several bedrooms in the cottage, each with unique features. These include a twin room, an antique bed, and a room with zip-and-link beds. The master bedroom features a four-poster bed and an en-suite with a rainfall shower and cast-iron roll-top bath, which can also be found in the remaining bathroom. One bathroom even features a covered, preserved well.

Guest facilities include Wi-Fi, underfloor heating, parking and laundry facilities, a large-screen LCD TV, a DVD player, and an iPod docking station. And with easy access to Glassonby, Kirkoswald, Long Meg Stone Circle, Glenridding Sailing Centre,  Rookin House Farm, as well as scenic walks leading to Dale Raven and the River Eden right from your doorstep, there's no limit to the exciting experiences that await you.
