Springfield Linney is a wonderful countryside bolthole, perfect for couples and families looking for a relaxing rural getaway yet wishing to be still close to the coast. The two-bedroom barn conversion has been recently renovated to a high standard to offer guests a stylish modern and contemporary holiday home. Its layout takes full advantage of its rather unique location which enjoys spectacular views over the fields across the estuaries and the sea beyond.

One of the key highlights for guests staying at Springfield Linney is the enclosed garden, with a large paved terrace, lawn and surrounded by unspoilt countryside. Guests can relax and admire the spectacular views from the private hot tub, perfect after long days exploring the local area. It also provides the ideal space for dining al-fresco style.

Inside the cottage, you’ll discover charming original features along with contemporary furnishings. The lounge area boasts plenty of seating, a wall-mounted TV and a wood-burner, ideal for cosy nights in when staying during the cooler months. The key highlight of this room is the floor to ceiling huge bi-fold doors that can be opened fully onto the main terrace and boast the most spectacular views.

The kitchen is well-equipped and there is a dining table with seating for 4 people. Appliances include fridge/freezer, electric oven and hob, dishwasher and washing machine.

There are two bedrooms and a family bathroom. The first bedroom is situated up a few steps from the lounge area. This double bedroom has a standard double bed and its own en-suite shower room. The second bedroom and the family bathroom are located down the hallway from the kitchen. This bedroom can either be made up as a double (with a 5ft bed) or a twin (with two 2’6” single beds) and has fantastic views and also has direct access to the garden. The family bathroom has a bath with shower overhead, washbasin and WC.

This self-catering cottage offers an ideal base for exploring the area, as well as Exmoor. It is only a short drive to the beaches at Saunton, Croyde and Woolacombe. There are plenty of villages and towns nearby offering tasty quality meals, and independent shops, as well as several family attractions, to suit all ages.
