Property Details

Braunton Farmhouse is set in its own immaculate grounds with stunning countryside views and yet only a few miles from the best beaches in the UK. The villages of Braunton and Croyde are only 3 miles away and both have great restaurants and bars. The farmhouse sleeps 10 in 5 bedrooms, 3 twins and two doubles; The first of the twin bedrooms can be accessed via two staircases, it has two full-size single beds, a decorative fire place and large built-in wardrobe plus lovely views over the garden. Bedroom 2 is another twin with 2 full-size single beds and a chest-of-draws and built-in wardrobe. The third twin has two full-size twin beds and lovely character furniture. The first double bedroom is situated at the end of the corridor near the rear stairs, this bedroom has a king-size bed and wardrobe and chest-of-draws. Finally, the 5th bedroom, the second double has a double aspect outlook and amazing countryside views. This room has a standard double bed and wash-basin and heated towel-rail plus wardrobe.

The house has three bathrooms, two downstairs to the rear of the house; one has a bath with over-head shower, wash-basin and WC and the second has a shower, WC and sink. The family bathroom is opposite bedroom 3 and has a bath, WC and sink plus heated towel rail and mirror.

The living area downstairs has two lounges, one small ‘snug’ with comfy sofa and an arm-chair and a charming fireplace and flat screen TV with DVD and games console. The main lounge is bright and spacious, decorated in lovely shades of blue and white. The room has 3 large sofas and bean-bags plus a TV and DVD.

Beyond the lounge is a large dining room with large dining table and chairs for 10 people. Finally, there is a large, well equipped kitchen with an electric oven with hob, a coffee machine, a washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a round pine table ideal for relaxed breakfasts.

Outside the farmhouse has a huge garden and a lovely patio outside the front door, with a smart garden table and chairs and parasol. Round the side of the house there is another lawned garden and rear patio.

Braunton Farmhouse is perfectly located just a few miles from the very popular villages of Braunton, Croyde and nearest, Georgeham with two excellent pubs serving very good food. The amazing sandy beaches at Puttsborough and Saunton Sands are a short drive away and you can take surfing lesson at all the beaches. Croyde and Braunton have fantastic pubs, bars and restaurants such as The Thatch in Croyde and The Bistro Du Coin in Braunton, but book first to avoid disappointment. There are wonderful walks along the South West Coastal Path and you can cycle along the Tarka Trail for miles.
