Not to be missed on self-catering holidays in Little Torrington, The Royal Horticultural Society’s Rosemoor Garden is on the northern edge of the village. Set in a steep, wooded valley, its stunning grounds are open to visitors, and there is a restaurant and tearoom.
On the village’s doorstep, you will find many beautiful walking and cycling routes, including the Tarka Trail, which follows an old railway line through North Devon’s unspoiled countryside. A scenic drive northward from Little Torrington, the North Devon coast is a spectacular stretch of towering cliffs, rocky coves and sandy bays. The ancient fishing village of Clovelly is a must-see.
