Bilshay Farmhouse is a large, beautiful, thatched farmhouse set in a rural location, only a short distance from the market town of Bridport and the Jurassic Coast. It has recently been refurbished to create luxury accommodation with plenty of character.

Bilshay is a four-bedroom, tastefully restored, thatched farmhouse with a hot tub, games room, and one of the most spectacular views in Dorset. It is a peaceful, rural location set in beautiful countryside in the hamlet of Dottery. Approximately 1.5 miles from the market town of Bridport with all amenities. Just a 10-minute drive to the nearest beaches.

All of our beds zip and link, making it easy to suit individual requirements. Bedroom One has a double bed and en-suite, and Bedroom Two has a double bed and en-suite. Bedroom Three has a double bed and en-suite, and Bedroom Four has three singles. We can also provide a Z-bed and cot.

There is a downstairs WC, a family bathroom on the first floor, a free-standing bath and separate shower, and two en-suite shower rooms.

The large, fully equipped kitchen includes a range gas cooker, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. The kitchen/diner is open-plan with seating for ten and the dining area has an open fireplace.

The utility room has a freezer, washing machine & tumble dryer, hooks for coats and plenty of room for shoes & boots.

The Living Room has an Inglenook Fireplace, wood-burning stove, TV and DVD player.

There is a large area downstairs with flagstone floors for coats, boots, wet dogs etc. Outside is a courtyard area where one of the stables has been converted into a games room. Four stables are available for your horse at an extra cost.

There is a large garden with stunning views of the surrounding countryside and a lovely area with a hot tub and BBQ. There is also a games room.

We provide crisp white linen for all the beds, hand and bath towels, and dressing gowns. Linen for the cot and z bed is not supplied. The cottage is cleaned and the linen is changed after every booking on our changeover day, which is Friday.
