Beautifully Fitted Cottages

We booked 3 of these cottages for our daughter's wedding so that we could house all the bridesmaids and most of the bride's relatives for a week. This worked out wonderfully because the largest cottage featured an open plan sitting and dining area and kitchen where we could all mix and match.
The best feature of these cottages are the fixtures and fittings which are of high class and quality. Beds are comfortable and entertainment is on tap with large screen TVs and an extensive paperback library in each cottage. Cooking and washing is catered for in the fully equipped kitchens. Bathrooms up and down matched the bedrooms - almost as good as en-suite really. Each cottage has a private outside courtyard for dining or relaxing in the sun. Lovely.
For me, being tall, the only downside was the restricted headroom to the sides of some of the bedrooms which have sloped down from the roof. You may also notice a bit of traffic noise if you spend a lot of time outside the front of the cottages.
Overall it's difficult to fault these cottages as places to stay to explore this part of Yorkshire. Highly recommended.

Beautiful luxury cottages in tranquil setting

We stayed here for new year and had the barn house and fold yard for a group of 6 adults and 4 children. Everything about the accomodation was perfect and it was finished to a high standard. Highly recommended.

There were plenty of books and games provided. Wireless Internet access available in both places. Plenty of crockery, pots and pans as well as utensils.

Some lovely little extras provided for that personal touch.

Excellent

We cannot recommend Broadgate Farm highly enough, we are a family of five and have stayed four times over the last couple of years and it's excellent, we have stayed in the Granary and in the Cart House.

Very comfortable and well equipped 4 night stay in delightful cottage

holiday cottage overlooking sheep grazing in the fields. The cottage is well equipped and the information guide is extremely comprehensive. Elaine has thought of everything. This was our first visit to the Yorkshire Wolds and we can understand why Beverley has been voted one of the best places to live in the UK!
Less than an hour from York and the marvellous sea cliffs at Flamborough there is plenty to see and it is great countryside for both walking and cycling

Family Wedding

We booked the Cart House for just over a week and used it as a base for a family wedding in Hessle.
The cottages were beautifully furnished with all the facilities and space we needed, and the children spent lots of time just looking out of the windows at the sheep.
Because of the wedding preparations we didn’t really have a chance to spend time in the immediate area and will certainly be back to put that right. A fantastic location and we would thoroughly recommend a stay here.
Oh... and the welcome pack was very gratefully received after a long drive. Thank you Elaine.

We stayed at the Cart House

Wow! This was perfect. Very clean and well finished off. Great location and very well equipped. We cooked, we relaxed, we walked in the beautiful gardens. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. It was spacious and perfect for a family with three kids. The only thing missing was a tumble dryer other wise it was warm and cosy and quite and peaceful. Strongly recommend!

A jewel

I was born and bred in Beverley but moved away many years ago. The weekend of the 14th October my Lancashire wife and Merseyside friends visited Beverley for the first time this year. But there was a problem---where could we stay with the Beverley Arms being closed?

Well I am pleased that the Beverley Arms was closed otherwise we would not have found the Jewel of accommodation at Broadgate Cottages.

The Cottages at Broadgate Farm are fantastic. They are beautifully designed, spacious, warm, well-equipped and clean.

Their location is also excellent in that you have easy ample packing at the cottages, you have very easy access onto the main York and Hull roads and if you want to take your car into Beverley then you only have a five-minute drive across the Jewel of the Westwood. But of course, the best way to get into the town is to walk and the you can appreciate both the location of the cottages and the beautiful view you see of the town when you reach the Westwood and then the sheer beauty of walking across the Westwood.
