This Victorian-era farmhouse cottage boasts a welcoming mix of rustic furnishings amidst all modern appliances and amenities.
The North Wales coastal cottage consists of a spacious living room with a flat-screen TV and stone fireplace with a wood-burning stove, moving into the kitchen and dining area with new tiling and all electrical appliances, and a large table to seat up to six for hearty, home-cooked meals.
Upstairs are the three bedrooms: one master, one single and another family room for sleeping up to three, ideal for the kids. The property is complete with the family bathroom with a bath and shower.
Outside, Ymwlch farmhouse boasts a large patio area with a garden bench for awe-inspiring views of surrounding hillsides and mountainous green.
Ymwlch Bach is in the best of Northern Wales nature, close to the Snowdonia National Park, where there are many walking trails and cycling routes to try, with the National Cycle Route just 60 yards away from the cottage. The splendid sandy beach at Criccieth is just three miles away. Combine this with a visit to Criccieth Castle and other medieval castles, such as Harlech, along the beautiful North Wales coast.

Lovely cottage in a lovely location
We had a really nice stay here. The landlady - who lives in the adjoining but completely separate part of the house - had baked us a cake on arrival. The views are tremendous and the accommodation offers a great base for exploring North Wales.
Nice cottage in a very pretty spot
We had a lovely week here with our two small children. Lovely views in all directions, a little garden for the kids to run around in, enough space inside for us, and very easy to get down to the coast at Criccieth or Porthmadog, or into Snowdonia. I don't think I would recommend it for more than 4 adults though - the sitting room and one small bathroom would be a real squeeze for that many.
Great location
We stayed for a week with our 2 children. The house is really nice and in such a quiet and scenic location. Plenty to do nearby and the owner is really nice and helpful.
Fantastic choice for family
I booked to go with my 3 grand children ages 17,15 & 9. It is a lovely peaceful location & safe, we had a fun packed week visiting Snowden, Zip Wire, Bounce Below, Portmeirion, Black Rock Sands, Porthmadoc, Caernavon, Llanfair P.G, & Beaumaris. The children are already planning a return trip and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
The location is perfect as it is within driving distance of most if not all of the main Snowdonia attractions.
The owner Mrs Watkins is a perfect host and you wouldn't have known she was next door, but on hand for advice when needed, also bakes a lovely Bara Brith which was very welcome.
Would recommend a stay and would definetly return.
Warm welcome, beautiful surroundings, gorgeous house containing everything we needed. Good base allowing us to explore North Wales.
The owner was awaiting our arrival, fire was on. Our stay was very good. We, as a family, were looking forward to a different experience, which we experienced. I would definitely visit again in would love to live in the same property.
The owner was very friendly and helpful. She left us to ourselves even though we were staying in the same house so we did not feel we were intruding which was great. The property had fantastic views and in a great location for the surrounding attractions. We had a great time and would return.

Stunning views from Farmhouse.
The holiday was booked very last minute but the owner still had the property clean and ready with a roaring log fire waiting on our arrival. The property was ideally located to visit Criccith, Portmadog and Harlech.
The location was excellent with fantastic views of the mountains. We had fantastic weather and enjoyed the stay. We would go there again.

The views from the house are stunning. There are many interesting walks, beaches and other tourist attractions very close at hand.
In a fantastic location with wonderful views from every room. There were many local attractions within a short drive. Everything was perfect, even the weather.
We had a lovely stay at Ymwlch Bach. We enjoyed the wonderful views and it was very easy to get to both Criccieth and Porthmadog. Our children particularly enjoyed running around in the garden and seeing all of the sheep in the surrounding fields.
The location is perfect for travelling in & around Snowdonia, and the property is in a safe & quiet area. The property had all the mod cons yet still retained the natural beauty of an old farmhouse. Would recommend a stay and are looking to return.
