Holly Bush

Holly Bush enjoys rustic charm and tranquillity. The romantic cottage in Luntley, Herefordshire, lies on a working farm and offers generous outdoor spaces as well as a seamless blend of tradition and modernity.

The ample grounds connect the cottage to the farm and the countryside and include a half-acre paddock as well as an enclosed private lawned garden with a furnished patio. Fire up the BBQ on sunny afternoons, or simply kick back and enjoy the views and the fresh air.

Exposed oak beams, trusses and wall timbers carry guests back to the past and add character throughout the cottage. The open-plan space incorporates the fitted kitchen with a dining area and the sitting area with a double sofa bed and French doors to the private garden.

A spiral staircase leads up to the equally charming bedroom, which features a double bed. The modern bathroom contains a shower. A double sofa bed can be found in the sitting area.

Couples and families holidaying at Holly Bush are spoilt with traditional charm and serenity and can rely on WiFi, amenities for young children, bike storage, parking, central heating and laundry facilities, as well as TV, video, DVD and CD player.

Holly Bush rests on a working farm in the hamlet of Luntley, not far from the black and white village of Pembridge. The cottage is also within easy reach of Hay-on-Wye, Ludlow and excellent opportunities for walking, cycling, riding and fishing in locations such as the Shropshire Hills, the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons National Park.

Black n white gem

Bijoux barn conversion in the heart of little known 'black and white' part of the country. The cottage was clean , well-equipped and perfect for a cosy hideaway. The owner couldn't have been more helpful with a lovely welcome of homemade cake!
Loved the spiral staircase! Right in the heart of the country. Night skies were breathtaking.

Holly Bush was the perfect place to relax in a little complex of three holiday lets. The decor was very good as was the standard of cleanliness and the owners had thought of everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible; providing all the necessary utensils and amenities you would need...just like home! The setting is idyllic and very peaceful but well within lovely towns and villages to visit.

Mrs Dodd

Rural seclusion, but near to a host of attractions.

This was very well situated for visiting the famous "Black & White" villages. The owner was very welcoming. No phone signal - hooray!!!!

Mrs Seaton

Really peaceful place and lovely views over the fields. Friendly owners, very helpful. Even resident cat and dogs to make you feel at home. Plenty to see and do. Will be back to the area next year hopefully.

Mr & Mrs Fisher

Superb accommodation in an idyllic surroundings.

Mr Dyer

Fresh air, clear skies at night with no light-pollution, the geography was good for us with plenty of varied stuff to get stuck into (green places, cities, climbing etc), the locality was quiet. The excellent comments in the Visitors' Book is enough testament to the quality of this cottage.

Mr Henson

Booked all three properties. OUTSTANDING VALUE. Brilliant space for children, lots of it!

Mrs Wetherill

The owners were very friendly! The cottages are set in a stunning part of Herefordshire and they are beautifully restored. The bedroom is very romantic and the small but well kept garden overlooks lovely fields with sheep. There is lots of wildlife and stunning countryside. Hereforshire has lots of orchards which were in full bloom. It is very close to Wales for day trips. Herefordshire is ideal if you enjoy walking, cycling, and nature.

Mr & Mrs Otto

Mr Norton
