Hollytree is a characterful and comfortable Victorian Villa with 3 floors. It's appeal as a holiday home is reflected in the large number of visitors who return time and time again to this idyllic and peaceful location. The house is totally suitable - and safe - for children as well as pets. Features include a hot tub, riverside views, BBQ terraces and stunning rural views. There are three lovely pub/restaurants within walking distance, four if you include a river ferry trip across the Wye. Even so, the temptation to dine at the House equally strong, thanks to its fully-equipped kitchen and dining room with a table comfortably seating 20 guests.

For walkers, the area is something of a paradise with walks to suit all ages and abilities. You can rent bikes or enjoy an adrenalin-fuelled morning at Adventure Tower and Ropes. Or the Go Ape Tree Top Adventure course, perhaps followed by a trip to Aunt Martha's Victorian Tea Rooms to replace the calories lost. For the less active, explore the many bookshops in Hay-on-Wye, take a nostalgic ride on the Dean Forest Steam Railway or explore Tintern Abbey.

Splendid Birthday weekend
The House suited all-purpose family very well a birthday weekend with a widely diffused family of 15 in a splendid location.
Fantastic 60th for Mum
Stayed weekend before last for my Mums 60th birthday. Fantastic place, walks, great pubs, stunning location, all ate together. Couldn't have gone better. And special mention for Martin from BHHL who helped so much. Cheers guys!
