There are two parts to Freshwater: the main town and Freshwater Bay. Being on the Isle of Wight there is a wealth of fantastic coastline to explore, with warm sandy beaches, safe shores and rows of cafes and restaurants to relax in whilst watching your family play in the sea or in the sand. The beach is also a great place for yacht spotting, as the Solent is one of the UK’s most popular areas for sailing in the UK. Lord Alfred Tennyson was sufficiently inspired by the surroundings to write many of his works while staying in Freshwater.
Families are spoilt with elegance at Hampton House, a luxury cottage with views of picturesque Freshwater beach on the Isle of Wight. The pet-friendly property offers contemporary chic and natural light throughout its five bedrooms and its extensive living space, which includes a log burning fire.
