Big families or groups of friends can enjoy a comfortable self-catering holiday in Monmouthshire at Fairlea Grange, a large and superb Victorian Gothic townhouse in the historic market town of Abergavenny, the Gateway to The Brecon Beacons in the picturesque River Usk valley - and something of a foodie haven.
This family and dog-friendly holiday cottage can accommodate up to 24 guests in 10 bedrooms, plus 2 cots for infants. The bedrooms are delightfully large and welcoming, as are the bathrooms - one even having a 6-person sauna installed. Relax in one of two lounges with wood burners for winter use to compliment the central heating system that keeps everyone warm and cosy when required. The dining room comfortably accommodates 20 guests, while the large kitchen is very well-equipped when it comes to preparing (and washing up) big breakfasts and dinners, perhaps created from local produce purchased from traditional market stalls in Abergavenny's attractive indoor market. Facilities include an Aga, electric cooker and ovens, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave plus all the cutlery, crockery and utensils to feed 24, if not the 5000.

Rooms 1 2 (both family rooms) and 4 (double) are en-suite
" Bedroom 3 has a shower and basin
