Primrose Hill Farmhouse
What a great place to stay. The cottage is beautiful and the owners Nigel and Jo are so friendly, helpful and kind. A chocolate cake had been baked for our arrival. So kind and thoughtful. So much to do in this area. Walking, cycling, museums, art gallery's etc. The moors are so stunning at the moment and you can walk from the cottage straight on to the moors.
We liked waking up to the sounds of the countryside. It was nice being able to do things without having to drive anywhere. The friendliness of the cottage owners, who involved our children in feeding the sheep and horse!
The welcome that the owners gave us was really nice, also their inclusion of our children in feeding the sheep, walking dogs etc. The house and surroundings were lovely and the owners were very helpful with local information and suggestions for days out etc.
A beautiful location, the cottage was situated in an ideal place.
The welcome from the owners was that of old friends not for some couple just staying in their property. Nothing was too much trouble! Lovely cottage equipped to the highest standard: home from home. Lovely couple. No hesitation in recommending property to friends lovely picturesque village, pub food excellent. A superb place for relaxing. Will be back soon.
The cottage was delightful and nothing was missing. We had a great visit.
We were made very welcome by the owners. The children loved the real fire that they lit for us before our arrival.
The cottage was warm, comfortable and had everything that we could possibly need for a good time plus all the little extras to make it special. I would recommend it to anybody who wants a base for the North Yorkshire moors and coast.
Very cosy warm cottage, with good features like the Rayburn and open fire. Good garden area, safe for children
Very friendly, helpful owners, very well equipped cottage, would not fault it.
The most comfortable cottage that we have been to. Lots of walking from cottage, no need to take car, plenty of places to eat of good quality.
Well equipped. Owners helpful and friendly.
Our holiday was like home from home. The cottage had everything we needed and was warm and very comfortable. The owners were so very helpful. We would reccommend this cottage to anyone who wants a relaxing holiday in a lovely friendly village, and 1st class owners who let a 1st class cottage!
Cosy, warm cottage, very homely. Very well equipped. Well situated for Moors and coast.
The beautiful surroundings allowed for a peaceful and relaxing setting. The cottage is ideally placed for sightseeing as well as walking and exploring. Very nice to come back after a long walk to settle down in front of an open fire.
Everything was perfect - The cottage, the area, and Sykes, oh and the weather. Perfect.
Friendly and helpful owners next door; lovely village and countryside; lots of interesting places to visit locally.
The owners of the property where very welcoming and made our two year olds holiday very memorable as they took time to show her their little lamb and horses.
This is probably the oldest property we've ever stayed in and it certainly did have a very cottagey feel to it that conversions don't always have.
The proximity of a good pub with an excellent menu and local walks meant we didn't need the car as much once there.
Primrose Hill Farm is a charming cottage with oodles of character, in a lovely, picturesque, location. The Rayburn kept it warm and cosy, and we had everything we needed. We had a most enjoyable holiday there, and were sad to leave it. Would definitely recommend it, and will probably go back.
