Bay View, Beadnell

The location was excellent, with 2 sea views from the balcony! The small harbour and lovely sandy beach were only a short stroll away.

We have been to this property before, and rebooked because we love the location and the apartment.

It was in good condition; new bathroom, new carpets in bedroom, and nicely furnished. It is in a nice position with partial sea views. Good for visiting places. A nice quiet restful holiday.

The owner was extremely helpful on our arrival helping with luggage etc We appreciated the wine &milk left in the fridge. Very comfortable chairs in the sitting room & well appointed. Ideally situated apartment, very quiet area. Helped make our holiday very enjoyable.

The apartment was very well furnished, especially the sitting room, and we felt at home during our stay.
It is a lovely area, very quiet. We enjoyed being able to walk to the nearby beach. It was only a short drive to amenities at Seahouses and Bamburgh! We would certainly recommend and return to this property.

The flat was bright, spacious and well furnished. The kitchen was the best equipped we've ever had and the beach was just a minute's walk away, over the dunes.

We have taken breaks in Northumberland for many years and in the Beadnell area or village for the last 7. This was the ideally located place that we have stayed at. Honestly 2 to 3 minutes from one of the best beaches in the UK. This property is very, very comfortable and well presented. One very short flight, with a view of the beach from the living room and balcony. All very peaceful. We rarely go anywhere twice but will certainly go back there if available next year.The walk along the beach, via Low Newton to Craster is about a 2 and half journey if fit and well worth it...there are buses back from Craster if needed!
Honestly cannot fault it, as for weather...well, it is the UK...so what if it rains, it is stunning countryside!

As it was our first stay in Northumbria we were very pleased with accomodation and the area. Ideal base to visit different places. Very well equipped apartment everything you need. Lots of information leafets. Short distance from beach. Ideal for a family. So many castles to visit. Will definitley return for another holiday.

The apartment was all you could wish for. Very clean, comfortable and modern. It was only about 50 yards from a lovely beach. Good food in the local pub in the village which was a short walk across the field and a bit longer walk on the way back via the road. Very central for all sites along the coast, Seahouses, Bamburgh Castle, Farne Islands, Alnwick Castle and Gardens and Berwick-on-Tweed. Did all these attractions but not much driving. Would recommend this to anyone.

The apartment was clean, comfortable, well equipped, had a new bathroom recently. Handy for exploring the Northumerland coast and towns. Would stay here again.

Our accommodation exceeded our expectations, very comfortable, relaxing, clean and very well equipped and to boot,it was situated in a lovely quiet and picturesque bay within a short drive of lots of wonderful family attractions.

Lovely flat in a great location. The flat was comfotable and had everything we needed.
The beach was very close by. Beadnell is small but had a shop, a pub, restaurant and a fish and chip shop.
There are plenty of places to visit nearby especially if you like castles. The only thing that could have made it better was the weather.

First floor apartment with sea views from the balcony. Very close to the beach and a short walk to the small harbour of Beadnell with its famous lime kilns. There is a small grocery store and fish and chip shop a 15 min walk away (limited opening hours), but quite adequate. Seahouses is a short drive with Bambrough a little further.
The apartment was well equipped,spacious and comfortable. There is a pub and hotel which serves food in the village centre. Directions for collecting the key could have been clearer, but that's my only complaint. I'd certainly stay there again.

The fabulous walks along the beaches, the good food from the New Beadnell Towers (?) Hotel. My husband is intolerant to gluten and the hotel chef was very helpful and understood the difficulty completely, which we appreciated very much as not all chefs are aware of the hidden dangers.

It felt like being in a home rather than a holiday apartment. The closeness to the beach was great. The surrounding area was very beautiful (Lindisfarne, Farne islands, Bamburgh, Beadnell Bay). Northumberland will definitely get a revisit from us at some point in the future!

We found this property was very well equipped, more than any other we have used. There is so little traffic !

Very quiet with places to walk to enjoy the coastline and countryside along with the wide range of wildlife and places of interest.

House was clean, warm, well equiped and had lots of hot water on demand. We will probably book this house again.

This is a great cottage, the best equipped we have ever been to. A sandy beach is 100 yards in one direction and a rocky beach 100 yards in the other directions. It is a fantastic location particularly for anyone with kids of 'rock pooling' age. We hope to go back again.

The first impression on entering the property was how clean to was. A credit to the owner! The beach is lovely and clean and very easily accessible. The holiday was very enjoyable. Very home from home as we had everything we needed in the property.

Beadnell is an excellent centre for touring Northumberland. The flat was very comfortable and clean. There were particular touches which made us feel welcome - milk in the 'fridge, coffee and tea available, a local newspaper and a welcoming postcard.

We had a very good week. The weather was fine and this enabled us to spend time on the nice beach close by and also visit some of the many beautiful places quite close by.

Plenty of room for children to play safely at rear of property. Near to sea and clean sandy beach. The Craster Arms serve good food, reasonably priced, and it is children friendly, they also have a large outside eating area. Alnwick gardens and tree house, and other beautiful clean beaches are within easy reach.

This was our first visit to Northumberland. The beaches, countryside and attractions all exceeded our expectations. Bay view provided a really comfortable home from home at the end of each day.

We knew exactly what we were getting as the apartment was just as described. It is in a lovely location and the standard of the property was extremely high. We were warmly welcomed with a bottle of wine and a pint of milk! Everything was spotlessly clean and there were lots of videos, books, games and information leaflets to guide us along.

It was a beautiful flat, so clean and there was everything you could think of provided! So close to the beach. The added welcome touch of a newspaper, milk and wine were much appreciated! Please thank the owner for a fantastic place, we hope to visit again!

This was the third time we have stayed at Bay View. I am sure we will come again.

The property was a delight. We were very touched to find the owner had left us a pint of milk, the local newspaper and even a bottle of wine. It all helped towards us having a lovely relaxing week in a beautiful part of the world. I would have no hesitation in recommending the property to anyone and once again Sykes have come up trumps.

Accommodation very well equipped ideally located for the beach. Northumberland is a great place to holiday, lots of interesting places to visit and plenty of virtually empty,sandy beaches.

The flat was close to the sea and in a good location to use as a base to get to different areas.

The location, the village, the friendliness of the people, the beaches, the puffins, the otter at one of the nearby nature reserves, Alnwick garden, the Craster Arms, the glorious weather. The apartment was brilliant and spotlessly clean. There was so much to do in the locality that we didn't get through half of our list. We both felt that this was the best holiday we have ever had.

The accommodation was really good and more than met with expectations. It was terrific value for money. The Northumberland area is ideal and fortunately we had exceptionally good weather. Beadnell is a great base for enjoying the coastal areas.

The location to the beach and harbour was exceptional. The property was comfortable and homely.

We enjoyed the sightseeing eg Bambugh Castle Alwnick Castle and Gardens and lots of other great days out. The evening meal we had at the Craster Arms Inn was lovely. Seahouses is a very nice town to visit and from there we took a boat ride to the Farne Islands which is a must.

Bamburgh Castle is a must. Good food at "The Craster Arms Inn", Beadnell. Nice quiet location.

This was the second time we've been to Bay View and found it an excellent holiday flat. The fact that the beach was so close and the comfortable accommodation really made the 2 weeks one of the best holidays we've ever had.

We had a brilliant time during our holiday. The apartment was very close to the beach. We did not go anywhere. We were at the beach everyday. The apartment was very cosy, clean and had everything we needed. The washer/dryer was a great bonus as the kids got wet everyday playing at the beach. We will definitely come back.

Bay View was in a beautiful setting right by the beach, very comfortable, spacious, and spotlessly clean.

The flat was excellent, very clean and tidy and everything that you could wish for. The beach was very close and that was wonderful, very easy to get to with no main roads to cross. The village with pubs serving food were about 10 mins walk away, closer if you walked over the field. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We really enjoyed staying in this well kept, spacious, welcoming apartment in such a wonderful location. Weather was great this week and it was one of our best holidays yet. We hope to return.

The flat was very comfortable. It felt like someone loved it and cared for it very well. The kitchen was so well equipped I hadn't ever seen one like it in a holiday let. I love the North East Coast and the beaches are just beautiful.

The location was fantastic, plenty of things to do within 10-15 miles. Beautiful beach on doorstep and holiday cottage was in a very pleasant and quiet location. Cottage itself was bright and airy and lovely to stay in.
