Ty Gwilym Holiday Cottages are set in the heart of St Davids, very close to the Cathedral, restaurants, and shops. The coastal path is within a ten-minute walk and five-minute drive, and the Blue Flag beach at Whitesand Bay is also within a ten-minute walk.
Ty Gwilym dates from the 18th century and has three lovely holiday cottages - Bwthyn Gwe, Bwthyn Lil and Ty Gwilym, sleeping a minimum of two, three and six people. They have been carefully restored to a high standard and retain many original period features.
They benefit from a sunny, secluded courtyard and garden, which overlook the Cathedral Bell Tower and surrounding countryside and have good off-street parking - a rare feature in St Davids!
We also have The Boathouse, a lovely Pembrokeshire holiday home for couples with two balconies and garage parking.
The cottages make an ideal base for exploring the Pembrokeshire and Gower Peninsula coastline, the picturesque harbours, the 12th-century Cathedral and Bishop’s Palace or just the unique atmosphere of the smallest city in Great Britain!

A Perfect Week
We’ve just enjoyed a perfect week staying in the beautiful Bwthyn Gwe cottage in St Davids. The cottage is everything you could ask for and more, so cosy and homely with all you need for a relaxing comfortable stay. There was also a gorgeous garden to enjoy. We really couldn’t have picked a better cottage in St Davids and all ideally situated for the cathedral, shops and coastal walks. We were sad to leave and will definitely be returning.
This Cottage is Second to None!
Had a super week in this beautiful cottage. Can't praise it enough. Quality of accommodation, comfort and standard of furnishings and equipment were second to none allowing for a perfect stay. On-site assistance from Dawn was excellent. Would highly recommend.
Everything You Could Wish For!
The perfect cottage, perfect location, perfect place. This cottage is everything you could wish for to make a stay in this gorgeous part of the world. Kitted with everything from a wood burner to feather pillows. Spotless, welcoming and even has that rare commodity parking. Whatever the weather it is really perfect. Beautiful garden and amazing accommodating owner. Just joyous.
The Perfect Welsh Getaway
Location amazing, St David's is on your doorstep, then easy driving to many attractions across west Wales. This is one of three rentals in the same building, but the walls are thick so you don't hear your neighbours, with great views of the cathedral, away from the road and street noise. Lovely the shared garden, gets afternoon sunshine. The house has all you'll need, good kitchen with dishwasher, water/dryer, fridge and freezer. TV has Freeview and Netflix. Bedrooms are very comfortable and airy. One bathroom with good shower over bath. This is the perfect getaway in Wales.
