Quiet week in lovely area, just what we wanted

Perfect cottage in a rural location, friendly owner. Location in the middle of nowhere, perfect. Cottage very well appointed, everything to hand, no problems apart from flies. Suppose you get this in the country!

Peaceful location

We stayed at this accommodation for a week recently. We found the 'cottage' to be well equipped and comfortably furnished. We enjoyed seeing the animals from the farm wandering around and had frequent visits from the chickens and cat. The accommodation is set in a rural area and is incredibly peaceful. The location of the cottage near Church Stretton is good and we found access easy to Ludlow, Shrewsbury, Much Wenlock and Ironbridge with some stunning walks located closeby. The only downside for us was that the road to the accommodation is very narrow with only a few passing points and this did put us off venturing out in the evening for meals. Overall though a very pleasant accommodation that was clean and comfortable and in a delightful setting.

Peaceful retreat in lovely surroundings

Kite's Nest is a cosy, well equipped cottage. We found it to be very comfortable and in a lovely setting on the farm with peacocks, chickens and ducks visiting us daily. The cottage is in a very quiet rural location with walks available from the door step. The only downside for us was the very narrow roads from Church Stretton to the accommodation which we found a little too narrow for our liking. A beautiful area though and a really lovely little cottage.

Perfect Cottage for animal lovers.

We had a wonderful time, the cottage was delightful and we really enjoyed seeing the various animals and birds. Woolfie (our cat) would have loved to bring home Percy the Peacock. We were very lucky with the weather and Shropshire is a beautiful county. I would recommend this cottage to anybody that enjoys country life.

The cottage was in the countryside, but outside the cottage was a livery stable and a collection of unusual birds and animals, which you could visit, so there was always plenty of activity.

Mrs Wright

Nothing was to much trouble for the owners, they gave us lots of tips for places to visit and wonderful eggs for breakfast. We will be back next year without a doubt. A wonderful place for a holiday, would highly recommend it - cosy for an autumn/winter break, lovely deep bath, great after a long walk. Thank you.

This property is in the middle of a working farm and stables. It really is back to nature! The owners are very friendly and informative. There is good walking to be had from this property. The best cottage we have ever visited and we will certainly be going back there again.

A beautiful property that far exceeded our expectations. A visit to this property would be great for astronomers: there are genuine dark skies at night at the property and I saw the Milky Way for only the third time in my life!

Lovely cottage; excellent for all walking attractions and Church Stretton.

Mr Malin

We could see animals and birds from the windows in the huge wild garden that we could walk around at the farm. The area was beautiful. The owner was very helpful.

Location excellent to visit the area. Great property to take the dog did not need to worry about muddy paws due to the tile flooring. Peaceful location. Property not overlooked by the owners but they are close enough if there was a problem. Friendly but not intrusive. Will visit again and would recommend.

Kite's Nest was a dear little cottage, we enjoyed seeing all the animals, especially the rescued owls. My husband wanted to bring Percy the Peacock home, but of course, we couldn't let him.
