Property Details

The elegant Georgian Farmhouse of Emmett's Grange above Simonsbath in Somerset is a large period property, which sleeps 15 in 6 bedrooms. The house itself is set within a private 900 acre estate, which guests are free to explore. With exquisite views, the estate and surrounding National Park land is an ideal place for those keen to cycle, walk, ride and hunt and explore.

New for 2016, guests at Emmett's Grange can enjoy the beauty of a deluxe swim spa, which is set in the perfect location for admiring the wonderful views of Exmoor.

As well as the 6 luxurious bedrooms; 4 of which are en-suite, the house also boasts a Music Room (with Steinway piano), Drawing Room, Conservatory, Butlers Pantry, Dining Room, Library and Office for guests to use. Outside there is also a croquet lawn, full size tennis court, games barn, and a vegetable garden.

A recent addition to Emmett's Grange is the Nursery. A lovely room perfect for young children and teenagers. The nursery can sleep up to 4, with a bunk bed and two single beds. Adjoined to the nursery is an en-suite, equipped with a shower, a hand-wash basin and a toilet. With a TV and DVD player for the older ones and plenty of toys for the younger, the nursery is the perfect getaway from the adults!

The house also has a further Linhay studio annexe, which sleeps 2, meaning larger parties of up to 17 people can enjoy the estate.

Catering is available on request and on site stabling can also be provided for guests wanting to bring their own horses.
