This is the enchanting setting of Little Folly Exmoor, a holiday cottage that we, Frances and Mike, are thrilled to share with you. Our home, surrounded by nature's beauty, is a haven for those seeking a well-earned break or a much-needed retreat. The peace and tranquillity that permeate the air have inspired artists and writers alike, and we can't wait for you to experience it. Nestled in the folds of the landscape, a short walk or a run or cycle will take you over moorland, past babbling brooks, through moss-clad woodland and beside a patchwork of meadowland. There are several glorious walks from the front door through this magical landscape where you will likely meet small herds of Exmoor ponies or even deer. Birds include snipe, skylarks, buzzards and many other species. You can watch our wildlife from the warmth of the cottage with a bustling bird table just outside the picture window with long views across the moor. The garden is a quiet spot in which to relax. On a clear night, you can gaze up at the Milky Way in this designated Dark Sky Area with a warm drink or wine. While Little Folly Exmoor is a peaceful retreat, we understand the importance of convenience. The charming town of Dulverton, with its small supermarket, butcher, deli, and beautiful bookshop, is just a stone's throw away. The Dulverton National Park Centre is also within reach, providing a wealth of information about the area. And when you're ready to indulge in local cuisine, there are plenty of cosy tea rooms, delightful pubs, and restaurants just a short drive away. Little Folly sleeps up to four people, and up to two well-behaved, supervised dogs are welcome. With ample parking, Little Folly is the perfect place to explore the wonders of Exmoor. Little Folly is attached to our house (The Folly) but has a separate and private entrance. It is yours for the duration of your stay.

Absolutely Wonderful!
Absolutely wonderful place to stay. You literally are in the middle of nowhere. The views from the accommodation are breathtaking. As it's remote, be prepared to travel to shop for essentials. We have rebooked as we felt very welcome and at home.
Could AskFor Nothing More
We had a lovely welcome with a chocolate cake and fresh flowers. Adrian was a fabulous host and Little Folly was spotlessly clean and totally reassuring with all the measures in place against Covid-19. It was so peaceful there with gorgeous views. It was great to watch all the birds on the feeder. We had everything we needed in cutlery, pots and pans etc. The beds were really comfy, lots of hot water and a great shower. What’s not to like! Tinka, Adrian’s Jack Russell, is an absolute delight, always happy to see you. Huge thanks to Adrian and everyone who ensured our stay was a really enjoyable one.

Adrian had spent a great deal of time planning for the safety of his guests during the pandemic. Excellent little cottage in a superb location. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

Our 13th Year!
Since 2006 we have stayed at Little Folly at least twice a year and the self catering facility has never been faulted. The welcome and attention to the clients' requirements has always been exceptional.
A perfect welcome
This small holiday cottage is situated in a beautiful area, and is very comfortable, clean and well-equipped. It is maintained to the highest standard and offers a very pleasant stay to those who enjoy the countryside, wildlife and peaceful relaxation.

Everything was perfect. Adrian is a great host and very kind. The cottage is lovely, there is plenty of garden, the views are beautiful and the bird feeder just outside the living room window provided wonderful entertainment, watching a variety of birds feeding. A very peaceful setting, too.
