Amongst a block of three cottages, Barn Cottage has been converted to offer accommodation with full wheelchair access. Located in the idyllic West Wales countryside, on the owners’ smallholding, the area is on a peaceful farm.
An open-plan living area with gas central heating includes a flat-screen TV with Freeview, a DVD player, a CD player, books and games, and WiFi. The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, and dishwasher.
The cottage has three bedrooms, sleeping 6, and a bathroom with a shower chair, raised toilet seat, handrails, shower, and basin. A private hot tub is included. The cottage is dog-friendly and child-friendly, with a travel cot and highchair available. Outside is a decked patio with furniture, a BBQ, a large meadow with children’s swings, and a slide. Guests can see all owners’ animals (by arrangement), and stabling for guests’ own horses is available at an additional cost.
Laugharne is famous for its association with the poet Dylan Thomas. Guests can visit his Boat House, his writing shed, and his favourite drinking haunt, the Browns Hotel. Guests can also visit Laugharne Castle, Oakwood Theme Park, or Ffos Las Racecourse. Nearby is the sandy beach at Pendine, and a little further off are the seaside resorts of Tenby and Saundersfoot.

Great for the kids.
Excellent situation, and the children loved having all the animals on the smallholding.
Comfortable & warm cottage, with beautiful surroundings.
Owner was very friendly & helpful. He even dropped us off at our wedding venue.
Location is a bit out of the way, but that makes it lovely & secure. The views are lovely & there are many animals for the children to watch & pet.
We liked the open-plan spacious cottage, although the doors could be changed as the ones off the bedroom were fire exit bars, which children could easily open. Although the surroundings are child-friendly, it is a working farm & so they would need to be supervised.
Overal, it was lovely & we would definitely visit again.

Fantastic place, comfortable spacious accomodation, lots of space animals and trampoline for the kids to play outside, the host was always accessible and willing to sort things out. Great location,a mile or so from Laugharne where Dylan Thomas' house is located. beautiful all round!

lovely place so relaxing, excellent accomodation,5* and so disabled friendly, lots of animals to see owner very helpful nothing a problem, and our dogs loved it a real welcome for all

An ideal place to relax and unwind but close enough to various places of interest. Stunning scenery and a very helpful proprietor. It was lovely to be able to take both dogs and feel relaxed in the property.

We had a fantastic holiday. The cottage was superb and the owner is the nicest person we have met they, could not do enough for us.
We were delighted 5* all the way. The disabled access cottage offered everything; thus allowing freedom and ease of getting about to enjoying all the animals on the farm even the llamas; giving a true feeling of a relaxing holiday, with independence. The owner was a great help if you ever needed it.
We had a fantastic time at Barn Cottage. The owners were very friendly and kind. The jacuzzi was lovely and the garden was a lovely size for our two dogs.
